This was real. There was an ‘update’ call on the 1997 Catherine Bell show, so the original must have been not too long before that.

She used a few different names and made many calls, more than just the Sophia saga. Maryland came up more than once (otherwise I wouldn’t have made connections). She might reference it in her “coming clean” call; I’d have to check.

I know voices. Theirs are superficially similar but not the same. Nina isn’t altering hers very much and speaks in a normal cadence.
