Great ep. This is one of those shows where there are no calls for the first 10 minutes of the show.

Adam announces he is punchy because he got his dog Molly spayed earlier in the day. Last time he got a dog spayed it died.

Engineeress Michelle gets yelled at for slamming the door. Adam suggests getting one of those old western style doors that swing wide open. This brings up the question of whatever happened to the "This town's not big enough for the two of us," line because you never hear it anymore.

Back to Adam's dog, he talks about his dog being high when it came back. His wife said the vet gave them some tranquilizers to give her. Adam then went back and forth for a few times to figure out if he should take one of them himself or not.

Adam's days of working at McDonalds is referenced. He tells the story about having to throw 13 fillet of fish in the dumpster outside but instead shoveling them into his mouth. He also talks about having to search the houses he babysat at for food such as a can of pie filling. Once in a while before the owners of the house would leave, they would embarrassingly warn him not to eat something in the fridge because they were eating it the next day.

The marshmallow-burning story is told. This is where Adam roasted a marshmallow over a stove and held it up pretending to be "Adam the great" and his buddy Ray smacked it into his check that melted onto his skin.

A game of Germany Or Florida is played that relates to deadly hobo power.

Drew busts Adam for never opening up to his therapist.

A game of Ace's Mexican Ranchero Accordion Countdown is played. They try to play with a caller but they have trouble finding one who has heard the show before. Theo's theme song for the game is played. A little while later, caller Billy suggests they change the name but shockingly has no suggestion for an alternative. Adam asks him not to call in for the next five years because he knows he'll be gone by then.

An attempt to hear a smoke detector is failed because the phone lines keep cutting out.

Adam describes his Grandfather's funeral. They paid $80 to have him cremated but had no ceremony because it would have cost a lot of money.

Adam uses Chock-taw to describe how he would tell Native American Indians they couldn't build a casino because there are bodies buried on the land the wanted to use. He suggests they use this for a South Park episode.

Drew tells Adam the name of the place where all the books are. Adam yells about his dad checking out records and having them melt in the back of his car.

Portland fans Dan and Jessica are recognized for sending in a scoreboard for Ace's Mexican Ranchero Accordion Countdown as well as something to keep track of Germany or Florida. It includes a picture of Hitler standing next to a banana hammock on the beach. They have trouble figuring out how to fill it out though.

Caller Adam says he wants to take over for Ace in five years. I think he should have. He is working with the ad council to get better PSA's

Turkey Day is coming up so they complain about the president having to pardon the turkey each year.

A girl calls in with excessive sweating. She says she wakes up every night completely drenched and “it’s like urine and everything else.”

The guys stop her and say wait a minute it smells like urine or it is urine? She says no it just smells really bad like urine. Drew says I think she just means body odor. Adam asks again and she says no it smells like urine.

    Drew: “Could it be urine?”

Adam: “Ah, I wake up and my soul leaks out from my rectum, it’s brown, and it smells like stool.”

This episode is absolutely hysterical! Adam is on his game. Starting with 70s health food. Raiding the cabinets during babysitting gigs. Ray pasting a scalding marshmellow on Adams cheek. Later, discussing the bizarre ritual of burying the dead, and cheap Carolla family funeral arrangements.

Adam’s “napping vessel” jag was funny, and his take on burials was profound – he said when his friend’s mom died, the friend pictured his mom’s body decomposing in the ground.

Also, a caller asks for book recommendations, and Drew suggests “Don Quixote” while Adam suggests “The Phantom Tollbooth.”
