James “Lights Out” Toney is a multi-weight division world boxing champion and proven badass. I don’t think he can actually be hurt by a punch…
Being that Adam is a big boxing fan, he is very excited to have Toney in studio.
This is just before Toney moved to heavyweight and fought Booker, so he was coming off his most entertaining fight, IMO, against Vasili Jirov.
Actually he had just TKO’d Holyfield in what many thought would surely be Evander’s last fight. If someone had told me he would still be fighting now, I couldn’t have believed them.
To Toney’s credit tho, no one has ever dominated Holyfield like that before or since.
It’s always funny to hear Toney try to sting together a sentence. Pretty good chemistry with everyone – give it a listen yall.

Interesting to hear Toney and Adam talk about steroids in boxing, not long before his suspensions for steroid use.
At least Toney won his fight he is promoting here, only thing – he is constantly breathing into mic, sounds like Darth Vader is in studio too. But overall great sports-talk show.
I’m a pretty big boxing fan so maybe I’m a bit biased but I loved this episode, especially the laid back tone tonight
James Toney was great. All of the boxers so far as guests have been a great mix up. James being at the top for sure, you can tell hes been hit way too many times. Great show
I hate it when the guys ask a caller to explain something, they do, then they ignore it and Adam berates the caller for being dumb.
