The guys ask Chris to play Veal and Venison, my favorite Loveline game, at 22:30. His answers are Veal=fish; venison=deer. Adam has been probing the depths of Chris’ mind for the first time lately, which is probably what prompted him to make Chris play.

The guys ask a girl the Veal or Venison question around 27 minutes into the show and she gets them both right. Then Adam throws in calamari as a bonus question.

    Caller: “Fish eggs.”

Adam: “Fish eggs. Alright. This game is like one big national mad lib.” (As is tradition with this game, they never reveal whether the person is right or wrong).

*At this point Anderson says something to Adam off mic*

Adam: “Okay, listen Anderson, I’m not gonna read her the whole goddamn menu tonight. Anderson’s screaming something in my ear.”

Adam (as Anderson): “Uh, PORK FRIED RICE!”

It’s a funny moment, but Adam doesn’t seem to understand what Anderson is getting at. He’s not just throwing more random food out for her to guess, he’s suggesting that Adam ask her what she thinks caviar is, since she guessed fish eggs for calamari.

Adam always complains about others stepping on his comedy bits, but he’s guilty of it every now and again too. This is one of those times.

The guys know Engineer Chris wants to eventually work his way up to a job where he’s actually on the mic, so they let him take them to commercial near the end of the show. They make sure to interrupt him and screw with him enough to make sure that it becomes a disaster.

  3. Around 50 minutes in, Dr. Drew reveals that hospital doctors often aren’t actually employees of the hospital. Interesting conversation.
