Cheap Trick doesn’t say much but you can tell they are attentive and into it. Other than the very educated hairy girl, the callers seem stupider than normal.
Cheap trick we’re ok guests. Kind of standoffish. But they attempted to be a part of the show. Meh episode
They seemed like dicks when they said “ they don’t have to play certain songs live” . That’s all anyone wanted to see was the two good songs they had.
You can tell Adam is a huge fan, and the band probably doesn’t realize he doesn’t regularly gush for every band. They take it in stride.
The show drags a bit at times but has some good moments. The band is either totally quiet or laughing at Adam’s jokes. But I agree they are actually attentive, I wouldn’t say standoff-ish. You can tell that Adam is trying to “impress” them and it could have been a classic show if they were less passive.
At one point Drew thinks he hears (or should hear) a smoke detector and a few calls later there is one.
The band was super chill. They really didn’t want to be interviewed and Adam only got a little out of them. Really funny singing of Taboo 2 in this one by Adam.
