Show Summary:

CLL #2048 (feat. Lisa Dergan)
08/05/2003 – Tuesday Night Show
Source – Lost Tape VHS (2022)

This episode is 100% complete with a major audio upgrade, Lisa is making her second of three total appearances on CLL during the Adam era. Adam rants about the music played by KROQ and overall the episode has a a mixed reaction in comparison to her first outing which is widely considered pretty solid. Once again listen and decide for yourself.

Adam goes on a tirade over how crappy the music that KROQ plays, especially late at night and keeps going down to their studio to see what is playing, then ranting on how much it sucks. Hilarious. To jjo29’s point – not the greatest guest but still a good show.

She’s exactly the type of woman Adam hates, and he loves digging at her, and pointing out things that she think are right to be wrong, that’s his thing, that hot women only get their asses kissed and never called on their boring bs, good job Adam!

Guest is fine. She didn’t really need to be there. Although it lead to a sort of funny bit about feet guys not caring about feet. Adam is kind of obnoxious (more than usual) this show. But it is kind of funny when he pops over to the other station to see what song they are playing. His rant about bad music is more loud than clever or funny.
Drew has a very good observation that songs on mainstream radio aren’t actually meant to be “listened to,” it’s more just background music that many times just evokes nostalgia.
