This is the same episode as the 1/26/2000 episode. I don’t know which is the correct date.
Pretty much every source lists the date as October 25, 2000. I’m not sure by any means, though. Any way to find out by searching ICP’s concert history?

Basically saying 2000-10-25 because of the stupid 1-day tape delay. No clue how it got labeled as 2000-01-26, I’m taking that recording out and changing the guest back to Snoop Dogg, I think that’s the one where he smoked weed in the studio. It’s not in the archive though…
This is also the episode where J says “But the only weight I lift is my own, my big fat ass everyday when I wake up”

I could only listen to 10 minutes of this show because Violent J is such an annoying d-bag. Adam and Drew are thinking how much longer until the show is over so this guy can get out of the studio.
I just heard this episode via GIO’s podcast, and toward the end he does come-off as an annoying d-bag.
his handling of the rape call wasn’t cool.
If I’d only heard this episode, I would have written them off as LL guests.
but…the other ICP appearances are dangerously funny, and the guys seem more harmless.

A little before 45:00 Drew does the I Disappear intro.
There are several segments in which you just get the vibe that both Adam and Drew feel like they’re losing control of the show. I found those moments to be slightly uncomfortable, but overall I really enjoy this one. J’s energy is non-stop; he’s kind of like an evil DAG.

This shit isn’t funny at all.
I’m surprised this one is rated so low. And I should say that I’m not an ICP fan in any way shape or form, but I feel that this is one of the funniest episodes ever. Sure, Violent J made a rape victim cry but she clearly deserved it (kidding). I’m not sure what Violent J was on (well other than all the drugs he listed) but he was non stop hilarity from start to finish. This ep is the origin of so many hilarious “drops” and was genuinely one of the most entertaining (albeit crude) guests ever. Easily 5/5 from me.
I can’t stand ICP’s music or the culture surrounding it, but Violent J is a fantastic guest. The show is hysterical though it takes a pretty dark turn during the rape call towards the end.
I hate ICP but I think this is one of the best shows ever….there were moments where both Adam and Drew were laughing too hard to speak. It’s a definite classic.
Yeah, I can’t believe it isn’t rated higher. It’s possible to dislike a guest but still like a hilarious appearance from them on Loveline. I think some of the people who only gave it one star must not be able to separate those issues. That or their sense of humor just isn’t as dark as ours, heh.
31:54 is J’s rant and is the source of two drops. Amazing.

Dag and Violent J have made for the absolute best moments..
not as uncomfortable as many other shows (henry rollins). also not as hilarious as it had been led up to. interesting but not exceptional episode.
Wow. Violent J makes me sick. This episode was hard to listen to because Drew & Adam don’t shut him up quick enough.
Violent J is the best
The hilarity comes to a grinding halt around the 1:09:00 mark when Stephanie calls in with a question about rape. Words fail. I’m so disappointed with Drew and Adam’s passive response to the fine gentleman, Violent J’s, horribly abusive diatribe.
Although abusive, violent J is hilarious I just can’t help but to burst into laughter. So many good drop sources with like 3 in the mid 30 minutes. Drew and Adam are totally overpowered but it’s all good. 5 stars and it’s easy to see why icp and dag were the top guests

I seriously, seriously don’t know why this episode is so highly-rated. While Adam does smart-crude Violent J thinks saying ‘leaky nipples’ over and over is classic comedy. I really enjoyed a different ICP episode (w/ Shaggy) but this sucked big time. He should be ashamed of himself for making that poor girl cry. “See you in Hell”, Violent J. But even without that call this was a laugh-free episode, for me.

This is definitely one of the more polarizing shows: people seem to either love it or hate it. I personally love it, but there’s no doubt that Violent J is a psycho.
When J yells “WHOA, OH MY GOD!” he sounds exactly like Chris Farley.

The caller Beth, who needs her Xanax refilled, is so completely wrong about her insurance situation. She says it is illegal to have her out of network doctor provide her with a Xanax rx. Absolutely not – it’s just a higher cost. Never has it been illegal to go to an out of network doctor. I am always shocked that Drew just takes that and doesn’t clarify for her that it is not a question of legality.
Also, yes this show is a love it or hate show. Personally find it hilarious but could see how it would grate on people.

I don’t know how to tell you guys this, but Adam and Drew love having these guys as guests. Plain and simple. They haven’t said anything bad about these guys, even in other episodes. At certain points Adam and Drew are laughing hysterically. Whoever says “They couldn’t wait to get him out of there,” is wrong. They come back and spear on the show multiple times.
Violent J is obviously projecting his own behavior at the end. Dude has a healthy rap sheet.
This probably reflects poorly on my sense of humor, but this is the funniest show I’ve listened to so far. Except for when he made the girl cry near the end, but what are you gonna do? It’s Violent J.
