Incredible episode! I laughed so hard I choked at caller Tyler. He has an accident lighting his farts and he’s Adam’s favorite caller’. Thanks for uploading this one, Gio!!! This is amazing!

This show has it all. Hear me out:

Technical difficulties; dumb callers; rants about red turn arrows, unrealistic commercials, and meter maids; multiple calls about penis pumps, strippers, and farting on command; LIGHTNING ROUND; references to Susan Pinsky’s appearance a few nights before, and Adam’s Taboo 2 theme duet with Kobe Tai; Adam gives a nostalgic, in-depth review of the best strip clubs in the Valley; bad milk/bad eggs analogy.

    Specific highlights:
Adam’s strip club revue – caller asks for recommendations for strip joints in the Valley. Establishments mentioned include Bob’s Classy Lady in Van Nuys, Hollywood a Go Go, Venus Faire, Star Garden, Industrial Strip in North Hollywood, and Babydolls Theatre in Pomona. Describes the “masturbatory octagon” setup in Venus Faire to Drew’s horror. Drew asks why strippers don’t write books and one of the last callers of the night brings it full circle with some book recommendations.

Bad milk/bad eggs analogy – Caller asks how to make his sperm taste less salty, which leads to a great dialogue between Adam, Drew, and Phone Screener/Interim Producer Lisa. “Yeah, but does she transport??”

Rant about commercials – Adam makes fun of some iconic/terrible late-90s era TV commercials: the Valtrex spot with a herpetic woman kickboxing inside of a blimp hanger, and the Claritin commercials with a guy ‘snowboarding through fields of wheat’.

Farting on command – first appearance of caller Tyler? Tyler’s mom gets on the phone, doesn’t believe her son is talking to a radio show. Drew “I know it’s hard to believe, ma’am.” Tyler lit himself on fire while lighting a fart, Drew “you could have burned your nuts off!”
Adam gives Tyler the hotline number and invites him to call back periodically to check in, which he does throughout the rest of the year 2000.

At the beginning of the lightning round, second fart-on-command caller Dustin impresses Adam with his gift and some perfectly timed blasts. Adam gives him the hotline number as well.

Overall, great no-guest show and highly recommended.
