Show Summary:

Bobcat seems to be talking about Party at Kitty and Stud's, the porn film Sylvester Stallone stared in before he was really famous. Adam says he has not seen it and both Bobcat and Drew are shocked. Adam's reasoning is that he is a porn purist and would get distracted because he knows who Sylvester is.

Adam lists a number of guests that will be coming up. This has already been discussed at least a couple of times when the exact date was being figured out, but here they are again. They include Robert Schimmel tomorrow, The Wild Colonials on Thursday followed by Korn, Fiona Apple, Mike Judge and Garbage.

Since Korn was mentioned, Drew thanks him for not doing the Korn yell. Adam tells the story about introducing another band at Edgefest and yelling "Koooooooooorrrrrrrrrn" into the mic. He demonstrates this using the reverb effect. Adam also mentions Iggy Pop knocking him over.

In the middle of a call, Adam says Drew has a number of stickers attached to his shirt. Dr ew blames it on his daughter.

In the second call, Adam asks how old the guy thinks Bobcat is. The caller says 38. He then goes on to say he is in law school and is willing to help set up Boobville.

Drew tries to get Adam to talk about his friends throwing poo at each other.

Bobcat talks about merkins, but for your eyebrow. When Bobcat brought up the merkin In the 1997 show, his mic got shut off.

Caller Katie says her parents had a pound of weed in a sandwich bag... Adam says it's more like a lid and a half.

Bobcat plugs his comedy special on Comedy Central tomorrow night, Pulp Comics. Bobcat recalls a show where a caller guessed his age to be 60.

The next caller guesses Bobcat's age to be 41. He then says he was at Edgefest and enjoyed Adam's Korn yell.

Adam tells the story about going to Walter Reid Jr. High and getting put in the Donkey squad in P.E. He was supposed to wear a uniform but didn't own one so he always borrowed one from an absent kid. One time Adam came out of the locker room in corduroys and the coach told him to go put trunks on. Adam decided it would be funny to come out with the trunks on over the corduroys. It didn't go over well at all.

Bobcat says he's known Tom Kenny since he was 6. When they were in P.E. a girl with a hook arm would get picked before them for dodge ball.

Bobcat says his daughter is 9 and his son is 14 and a gangster rapper. The 10 second time out shows this was taped off of 92.1 KFMA.

They talk to a guy named Mike, the composer of the Boobville Anthem. The song is played and then Mike plugs his guitar lessons.

Adam yells at Drew and the screeners for taking nothing but downer calls.

Bobcat says his first Police Academy was shot on sonogram. It then sounds like he gets dumped for dropping the "F" bomb.

They talk about the KROQ Christmas album and how even though Drew only had one little thing on it, the New York times used a picture of Bobcat and Dr. Drew and didn't include Adam.

A caller says he likes a girl that is in prison. When they ask what she's in for, he says it was because of a "probation violation."

The last call is two bisexual girls that are on the phone at the same time. Drew suggests they use the dental dam.

Here is a list of guesses ventured by callers about what Bobcat's age is: 42, 39, 57, 53, 24(The guy was kidding about going to school with Bobcat and being in a gang), 48, 42, 33, 35, 35, 39, 33 (those last two were combined so it's really 72), and 37. It is revealed at the end that Bobcat is really 34, got started in comedy at age 15 and

was out of material at 22.

BOBCAT has now joined the ranks of my all time favorite guests, along w/ Tom Kenny and Kottonmouth Kings, congratulations Bobcat! Phenomenal show, epic personality.

While giving an aspiring-comedian caller advice about the industry-

Adam: “He did the first Police Academy while he was still in his mother’s womb”

BC: “Yeah, it was shot on sonogram….a lot of that was…”

    = GENIUS

cant believe there are so many negative, complain-y comments on a Bobcat show. He takes the show up into a higher gear every time – gets Adam in a great mood and riffs on the callers perfectly. He really should’ve been a more frequent guest.

Fuck the haters, this show is a gem. Listen with confidence.

Bobcat seems to have a lot of haters in general. And some of his earlier stuff where he relied too much on his anxious character who screamed constantly for no reason is kind of grating. But it worked for him, and by the time he was doing these lifeline appearances he had toned it down quite a bit. And the way he and Adam get along is as good as it gets.
