Rough date based on audio clues, could be incorrect. Upcoming guest Wally George and his 21 year old fiancé are brought up. Based on his 1988 wedding and early January booking based on Drew’s ski vacation in mammoth. Could be January 1988 best of. Same file as the 1986 Lee Harvey Albert episode, identical source and edit.
In this episode, we hear the invention of the ticking time bomb. If the call is going longer than Poorman’s liking, you will hear the sound of a ticking clock, followed by the sound of an explosion, with the collar later usually hung up on by the Poorman.. While some may be in this to be rude or unprofessional, I kind of understand why he was doing this at the time. I hate to sound mean, but some of the callers just seem to drone on and on, without getting to a point.
Note that the date for the show probably should be 2 days earlier, being that the show was only on Sundays at the time.
Going to try to do some more detective work, to see if I can get a better estimation of the date.
