I grew up in the east coast and had no awareness of the tv or radio show. Through seeing Dr. Drew on random daytime talk shows, I had assumed he was another attention-begging tv doctor. And I never enjoyed Adam’s media presence as an annoying seeker of crass jokes. The radio show from this site’s recordings spotlights their obvious talents.
One random interview a few years ago with Adam showcasing his sage wisdom on relationships turned me to his wikipedia page, and then to this site. I’ve been hooked ever since. I could have really used the show’s advice growing up but oh well (I feel sorry there’s nothing equivalent today). I believe the show provides a better introduction to psychology than anything else that exists. And it’s so funny!
