Claudio Sanchez & Michael Todd

Claudio Sanchez and Mike Todd from Coheed and Cambria who just flew in from NY.

Dr. Drew is in DC by himself.

Adam suggests they play a best of episode and splice some songs from the band in.

The band are fans of Loveline and great Guests.

Adam discusses how nice the Wilturn theater is and then he goes off on what a crappy name it is.

Dr.Drew says Adam sounds "fuzzy".

Adam inquires to the origin of the bands name and Claudio's work in comics/graphic novels.

Adam has engineer Michelle play a song early on in the show, Dr.Drew attempt to give Adam instructions to reboot the computer while on air, Adam is panicking but band member Mike thinks they make an awesome team.

She plays the song Welcome Home, Adam and Drew really respond to the song more than they usually do with guests, Adam begins quizzing them on how they arrange there music and asking how they arranged the string sections.

Drew really digs it and calls it a throwback!

The 1st caller complains about being put on hold forever last time she called so Adam puts her right back on hold in order not to break the trend.

Adam "...don't barge into his office and take a dump on his desk"(haha..Ray)

Caller Seth cause Drew to mention he is watching Seth McFarlane on the Late,Late show and how he and Busy Phillips discussed him on the previous nights show according to Drew Busy and Seth used to date.

Mike chimes in with what a fan he is of Seth, Drew and Adam then go on a long jag about how great and nice he is.

Mike has some opiate related questions for Drew.

Great extended discussion regarding Adam and Drew sexual preferences, lots of comedy.

Claudio is fairly laid back and quiet with Mike doing most of the talking.

Adam "..if you love camping and your eaten by a bear, your not thinking about camping..."

Adam gives his famous "die doing something you hate argument"

Adam takes a call regarding the band's musical influences, Adam is impressed with the band's they name, unlike most bands they actually give answers.

Adam gives an argument about not getting tattoos before your 18, Mike admits he has horrible tattoos he got when he was 15 and how he "detests" them now.

Anderson plays a crying drop over and over while a female caller is relaying her horrible problems, Adam scolds him and then he adds gunshot sound effects, even the band are offended.

Adam discusses his desire for a black entourage and Anderson plays the drop of Adam screaming "Give me your shoes, Give me your mother F'ing shoes" like in scared straight.

Anderson " his nose is hairy it's so far up your ass"

Adam " there's two things Anderson hates, bogus callers and this show"

Adam goes on a jag about ups drivers and how hardcore they are.

Mike labels the UPS rant his "favorite Tangent of the night".

Adam discusses Alec Baldwin blowing snot rockets on his comedy central show.

Adam tells Drew he missed the kickoff of the Sangenero(sp) feast, Adam remarks about how politician Tom Lebonge(sp) appeared at the feast and how Adam wanted to corner him and yell about traffic, Adam then goes off on how last time he talked to Tom he kept calling him Alan in the BS politician way.

They play the song "the Suffering" and Adam and Drew respond even better to that song both demanding CDs.

Adam "Thank god somebody's making that music..."

Adam and Drew give an extended asskiss session, then they go off on other bands that use a phony attitude to sell records.

    The crying caller around 55:00

    Let it be known; it’s the mexican kid (Arturo, Ricardo, etc.). He got caught earlier in May-June-or-July. He does a very convincing girl voice.

    You got to really open up to the possibility.

    @slicknick610 the song is “Soul meets Body” by Death Cab for Cutie. I actually came to post about how cool it was to hear them on a bumper.

    Coheed and Cambria seem like decent dudes, and down to earth. I find their music listenable and enjoyable, but I remember not wanting to admit to that when they first came around. Now I don’t care.
