Nicole is a dj of some sorts at KROQ, covering for Adam (out for hernia surgery – “my balls hurtttttttt! they’ll never heal”) and Melissa is some musician I have never heard of. I have to say (and I am a girl) that it was really unsettling to have such a female driven show. It was definitely lacking in the Adam rants, farthing and jack off joke department – the lack of testosterone really messes with the formula.

Kind of a bizarre, slow show. Drew is enjoyably sassy around these gals though. Some funny drop moments here and there.

I’m about halfway through this episode. They get to a lot of callers, but lots of bad phone connections and low-energy callers. Drew is in the zone. He visited a very “pale” Adam in the hospital.
