Great guest. Adam and Dicky spend the entire show trying to crack each other up. Around the 48:50 mark, they take a call from 19 year old Gene. He has a very high voice and wants to know if it is true that the male voice can lower up to age 25. It is at that point that everyone realizes that they are talking to guy Gene and not girl Jean. Adam, Drew, and the guests work with him, making him lower his voice and then have him pretend to order a pizza from Domino’s. While pretending to order the pizza, he suddenly starts to have a Southern accent. It’s pretty funny.
The domino’s pizza thing is funny. I sort of think that call is bogus but I can’t be sure.
A caller’s niece gave birth to a deformed baby who died after 30 minutes and asks if her drug use caused it. Drew explains that severely deformed newborns like that are called “monsters.”
If anyone wants to be utterly grossed out, “acardiac monster” is the search term to use.

Whoa! Gene, the gay-sounding singer who insists he’s not gay, called in 1999. The subject: wanting to tell his parents he’s gay. So maybe he never came out, and instead went deeper into the closet.
Go to CLL #1084, 11/24/99, (the G.I.O. Get It On podcast), at about 26 minutes. Caller Gene, 17 years old. (He’s 20 here because he says his birthday is in September.) Unquestionably the same person. He has a bizarre story about his parentage. Fascinating call!
I think that just shows that this call is fake. I think the voice is a “put-on” and whoever is doing the call is just pretty good at rolling with Adam and Drew, not cracking under the pressure, and staying in character no matter what.
