Jennifer is apparently a recurring guest, but giggles and acts like a 12 year old
Possibly the first call from Blind Amber, who called back multiple, multiple times starting in about 2003.
The call from “Noni,” Richard Gunn’s assistant, around 1:18 makes the show.
To begin the show:
Adam: “Loveline, I’m Adam Carolla, that’s Dr. Drew over there, phone number 1-800-LOVE-191, fax number…..eh still not sure what that fax number is, let’s not get all mired in that, shut up Anderson, I don’t wanna hear it. Don’t care. Haven’t seen a fax in a hundred years and let’s just keep it that way.
By the way, little trivia: The guest is the chick from that very special episode of Saved by the Bell where the gang starts a Teen Line (like Loveline) and Zach asks out one of the callers, but when they meet at The Max, SHE’S IN A WHEELCHAIR!!! Zach must come to grips with this, he learns the lesson that tolerance is the most important thing, love conquers all…aaand we never see her character again.
That Jennifer chick with her grating, raspy voice and her weird, nutty energy sounds (and kinda looks) like a cross between Kathy Griffin and Courtney Love (both quite nuts too).
Altogether a good show thou.
Adam “My hobbies are woodworking, masturbation, and… did I already say masturbation?” Jennifer Blanc asks if he is into woodworking for real, he mentions Drew has been kissing his ass because he wants Adam to help his kid make a pine box derby car. Story comes up again in later years.
