@ 1:17:15ish – during a discussion of lipstick lesbos with Anne, Anderson drops a dog lapping up water sound effect over Anne talking for almost a full minute. #$%&ing hilarious
That entire call was SO ANNOYING.
I hate it when they overuse sound clips, especially bad ones.
Don’t know if spoudini is referring to Producer Anne or the caller was named Anne but Engineeress Michelle (you’re a lesbian!) is trying to tell a lipstick lesbian where to meet chicks. I love Engineeress Michelle and how you can always hear her laughing loudly in the background when she is working. She sounds like an absolute delight.
Been a while since we got ace rockola. Decent show other than that.
The part near the end where Anderson plays the drop over Engineer Michelle every time she speaks is one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard on LL
A girl calls in and says she’s a heroin addict. Adam says “She says she’s been listening since she was 12 Drew. You did a great job on this one. I just make fart jokes. You really dropped the ball.”

The dog lapping water sound clip annoyed the hell out of me. :/
Stephanie, 18, calls with a question about aversion therapy to treat alcoholism. Drew says it absolutely does not work and that if it did, everyone would be using it. Efficacy aside, it’s a very interesting concept. Aversion therapy is a form of operant conditioning where a person is given whatever they’re trying to quit (cigarettes, booze etc) while simultaneously being subjected to some form of discomfort, the ultimate goal of which is to condition the patient to associate the substance/activity with that discomfort. I saw a documentary on it where some girl’s parents were trying to condition the gay out of her by having her sniff some sort of chemical (bleach maybe?) while looking at pictures of lesbian porn. The world we live in man. Holy shit.
Shout out to Fruit In The Middle (@inFRUITthe) for correctly pointing out that it was (of course) engineeress Michelle whom I was talking about (don’t know how I messed that up).
Expressing my appreciation eight years after the fact. Better late than never.
