Adam makes fun of Constantine’s obsessive fans who call in; Anderson helps out with some good drops.
Drew pulls a rare douchebag move when he asks an obsessed Constantine fan how she’d feel if her husband was just as obsessed with Britney Spears. She says “that would be great!” and genuinely sounds like she’d be all for it, but Drew keeps prodding, saying something like “Well, he’s always flying out to see her, you don’t know what might happen…” Constantine are talking over him and Drew’s mission fails.
Later, Adam and Drew are completely confused when a Constantine fan who manages a sex shop calls in. It turns out that she’s 5’10” and 130 lbs., not 200 as Adam’s radio math predicts; her customers are 80% women, not gay men; the shop is an old Art Deco building and not a purple shack with orange shag carpeting. Even Constantine is mystified as to why women would go to a sex shop, asking if the shop has fashion shows (it doesn’t).
Very good episode overall.
Sometimes I think the reason men rag on popular male celebs, loved by women is due to jealousy. Its something I’ve seen often.
Constantine was a good guest. He gets a lots of callers who love him. Pretty good episode overall little better than mediocre
