if there has ever been a show that needed the music cut out, this is it.
Good show and great guests who were engaged throughout. Awful music though lol.
Bands pretty cool and laid back. Good discussion about the freeze up reaction for victimized women
Ozomatli were good guests. They didn’t take Adam’s “brown” humor bad and they went well with the show. Pretty good show
Adam leans into racial/ethnic stereotypes pretty hard at the start of the show. Tomorrow night Drew says that he used slurs and had to explain them to his kids (do his kids listen?) but I didn’t catch any. Still pretty awkward, but the band takes it in stride and gives him a little bit of a hard time.
To make matters worse, Anderson plays La Cucaracha pretending it is the band’s music. I was expecting him to drop it again later when they are actually talking about cockroaches.
Drew has a suspicion about a caller being Miriam (he can’t remember her name) but it’s not her.
