~1:00:00 Prompted by a callers name, Adam creates a late night TV product–the ‘Jizzelle.’
Paintball talk, freeway traffic signs, left turn arrows, good rants damn good show it flows nicely!
I know Adam has done the freeway signs/left turn arrows rant a thousand times, but tonight’s is laugh-out-loud hilarious.
Freeway sign reports a lane closure on a road 50 miles away where nobody lives, but neglects to mention the entire freeway being closed one mile down the road.
Adam: “Who’s manning these goddamn things!!!?!!”
Adam: “Drew, you could convince the Pope that he has a problem with heroin.”
A kid calls in who says he likes to pinch off his ejaculation every time he orgasms during masturbation. He says he does it to avoid the mess.
Adam: “Listen Danny, you’ve gotta hone your technique so you can do it standing up in the shower.”
Danny: “Oh no I can’t, I’ve tried, believe me.”
Adam: “Hey Danny? Uh, if you use words like I can’t, then you won’t. Okay? Because I couldn’t either, but you know what? I overcame….in the tub.”
I believe this is the first show to use Clocks by Coldplay as the final segment bumper
5 Feb, 2003 is the first I heard it.
Good feel to this show…
@pzy I don’t know if people like this are trolling, retarded, or if they just start listening at a random point and then declare that “this is the first show to feature ______” even if it is the 400th episode to feature it. In any case, no.
Boring ep
True. The earliest I know is 5 Feb 2003, and there was a run for a while that it was played regularly. Maybe pzy was in a coma for about 15 months.
Episode #1919 from 02/05/2003 is indeed the first use of the closing ‘Clocks’ bumper. A lot of LLT comments are from before we had this full archive, when this site began we had the 1092 recordings done by other fans, since then we now have 2300+ of the 2635 shows done during the Adam era . However we always had all of 2003, so they likely didn’t listen to every episode.
