The infamous show where Adam busts Ty’s balls for not knowing the answers to many construction questions.
Particularly enjoyed the ballbusting on this, although Ty seems like a fairly nice guy. There is another episode (I am pretty sure before this) where Adam is dissing guys like Ty for being on TV but not knowing anything about their craft, found it funny that they had him as a guest.
Here’s a surprise that I wasn’t expecting: At 17:30, Ace uses the line later seen on the back of Not Taco Bell Material, about how he was just like Jesus, but he didn’t gouge the elderly. At least in 2004, people seemed to get the joke.
Pretty average show. Lots of carpentry questions. Towards the end of the show callers try to stump Adam.. and as expected can’t articulate the questions. Lots of stoner laughs at the end too. Overall pretty standard show.
Adams rant on how hot chicks are repulsed by nerds was great.

Adam is obnoxious in this episode. Focused on his personal carpentry knowledge, rude to the guest to the point that the guest stops talking altogether for the last 45 min. Skip it if you don’t like boring, asshole Adam.
Ty was an ok guest. Adam is all over him with carpentry questions throughout the show. Adam mentions he auditioned for the show but didn’t get the part. Maybe why he was a prick? Decent episode
I wouldn’t say Adam is obnoxious, he was trying to do good radio… but Ty couldn’t come up with ANYTHING. I guess he has ADHD, maybe that had something to do with it.
