Heh. About 20 minutes in, the caller wants to ask a second question. Drew says “yes”, Anderson (as Cyber Adam) says “no”… repeatedly. It’s funny.
Later, Adam decides to take home improvement questions instead of regular Loveline calls.
There’s a great rant about euthanasia around 1:15:00
Eric has great chemistry with Adam.
Great episode. Eric is an all time good guest.
The seedlings of Ace On The House… love the home improvement questions…
This is the first episode where Adam mentions Germany or Florida, and how Jimmy and the staff at JKL play it in the writer’s room. They don’t play it fully (although the first caller he takes after he mentions has a story for them to guess.)
Before this episode, Adam always just pointed out how Florida is crazy.
hahahahhahahaha Im laughing my ass off over here listening to cyber adam shut this kid down and to confuse him to whether or not he can ask his question.
at 0:34:00 a good insight into Producers/Program Directors input to the show. lie about callers age to make them seem younger. seems to remember there was couple of moments like that on LL
Eric Balfor is definitely a great guest who has very insightful answers to callers’ questions. If only more guests would join in like this.
Drew: “I never talked to a gay man who called his partner ‘my good buddy.'”
Adam: “Yeah. Except for Alan Hale.”
The “no” drop bit in the beginning was great. Lots of bad calls this episode though. Stupid hobo power bit…
1:11:20 Adam brings up an early mention of Germany or Florida as a side bit the guys who write for Jimmy Kimmel do in the writers room, it’s brought up that he stole the idea from there for Loveline but is this the first mention of that? The website Lingo page first says it’s mentioned on October 19th 2003, seems as though this should be introduced as the first mention.
Always a good guest.
First mention of Germany or Florida
Drew is in Florida. The kid asking if he can ask another question and Anderson playing all the “NO” drops is a laugh out loud moment. Eric chimes in just a little too much. They’re still plugging the 28 Days Later DVD giveaway.
13:40 “My name is Adam, I’m not bulimic and I love Katie’s bewbs”
