This episode is 100% complete with a medium audio upgrade, Adam and Drew open the episode discussing 'Cracked' Drew's novel based on his years of experience running an addiction recovery treatment center. Anderson is finally back from Hawaii and they address engineer Michelle at KROQ possibly for the first time on air since moving to the new studio. Adam goes off on the movie 'Die Another Day' and the villain with some colorful language that's as offensive as it his hilarious.
Adam and drew start the show talking about Drew's "new" book Cracked which is being released on Aug 20th 2003, Adam compliments the new book jacket.
Adam "...alright you ready to rock? Did I give the phone number?...."
The 1st caller inspires Adam to ask Drew why victims make him want to abuse them further, Dr.Drew then comments on that.
Anderson's 1st night back from vacation, Dr.Drew addresses Engineer Michelle for possibly the first time, she had been mentioned but never asked a question on air.
Anderson mocks Drew for still not being able to do a perfect rendition of "Gossip Folks", Adam then tries to get Drew to do it in an operatic tone, Drew gets out a few hilarious bars and then refuses to go on.
Adam comments on his Friday night activities of Drinking and watching Tivo, Drew then gets in his face about his boozing asks Adam if he is trying to force him to send Adam to rehab.
Adam "..it's a little red wine....", Adam goes off on the most recent James Bond film Die Another Day and how ridiculous the villain was, in particular the diamonds in his face.
Adam "...so this guy was like Diamondface....your face is worth like 4 million dollars, tell me someone is not going to get drunk and grab a nail file and pop one out, when you fall asleep".
A professional Dominatrix calls in with a question about her boyfriend, she is considering telling him about her other profession.
Adam and Drew go off on an extended discussion regarding the odd profession of a Dominatrix and the even odder nature of the customers, they reference the ep of LL they did with a pair of Dominatrixes who explained the whole pony play thing to them.
Adam and Drew then go off on how sad that is.
Adam and Drew transition back to Die Another Day, Adam "...Orion's belt was in this Gook's forehead...".
Adam and Drew go off on the Villain some more and the ridiculous powder burns on the guys face.
Adam and Drew both give a mini review of Pirates of The Caribbean.

Adam and Drew talking about not being able to spot a bad person in real life.
Adam: “It’s like the Kobe Bryant rape thing. People ask if he’s capable of it. Well who the hell knows what he’s capable of. You see him in a Sprite commercial and think ‘well he seems like a nice guy.’ And that’s their plan by the way. You can’t walk around stroking your meat and clutching a dagger.”

Gotta love when Drew steps over one of Adam’s jokes/stories and Adam gets pissy
A girl calls in and she’s concerned about her possessive boyfriend finding out about her side job as a dominatrix. The guys get to asking her a bunch of questions about her gig, one of which is if the cops come around a lot and try to bust the place. She says no because they don’t do anything sexual. Adam asks what about the part about the guys beating off. She says it’s totally legal to masturbate in public places. She says do you have any idea how many people masturbate in the street in San Francisco?
Drew: “…..yeah, that’s illegal.”
Caller: “Are you serious?”
lol, what the f*ck?
Normally that level of stupidity is par for the course on this show, but up until she tries to convince the guys that whipping your dick out and wildly masturbating in public is totally legal she seems pretty together and intelligent.
This gets them talking about the type of man who would subject himself to this kind of thing. Drew mentions that they had some dominatrixes (dominatrixi?) in the studio once and they described the large subset of men who liked to be treated like ponies and put in reins and paraded around. He says it made him feel so bad for these men who must be in so much pain to have to act their feelings out in that way. Adam felt bad too, but he’s a details man. He says the part that makes him feel bad is that these guys are down on a little stained strip of astroturf down by the airport. It would be one thing if they were in some rolling hills of the English countryside, but they’re in some crappy cinder block bunker with some semen-stained astroturf laid out.
Adam cues up a caller late in the show: “Jessica, you’re 14? Alright so, seven-year-old boyfriend cums withing one minute of penetration?”
Jessica: “Seven-year-old? What?”
The guys both kind of mock her for questioning Adam for saying seven-year-old but he absolutely did. Probably because the kid is seventeen and Adam misspoke, but he did say seven-year-old and he always jumps down peoples’ throats for making small mistakes, so he’s kind of being a hypocrite in this instance.
Adam and Drew discuss the absurdity of the new James Bond movie (at that time the new one was Die Another Day). Their main point of contention is the Asian guy from the first Fast and Furious movie is the main villain, and he has a bunch of diamonds wedged in his face from an explosion years earlier. They revisit this point a couple times throughout the show.
Adam: “Orion’s belt is embedded in this gook’s cheek.” lol. And he wonders why Asian groups have a problem with him.
28 minutes in, a Miriam like caller calls in and doesn’t know if a penis got put in her. She denied it being bogus but it probably was.
Pretty average
So much better when Anderson’s back. The drops are a big part of the show that makes it great. It’s too bad Carano threw a fit about the drops…it’s the only piece of the puzzle missing for the After Disaster….that and booze
Cas tech is in Detroit. I know this because there is this mark Wahlberg movie called 4 brothers where they actually show Cas tech, and I was like wow it’s Cas tech! They don’t take no jive!!
And I don’t think that was Miriam
Good to have Anderson back! Adam throws a fit after Drew tries to participate in his “gift bag” jag. Anderson drops in Sharon Osbourne “are you throwing a tantrum”?
Later, Adam slips in an Asian slur talking about the diamond face guy in Die Another Day.
Mid way through the episode the dominatrix (Abigail) calls. Dr. Drew and Adam say they’ll get her phone number and follow up with her in a few months. Does anyone know if they ever actually called her back? If so, which episode? Long shot but I’m super curious whether Drew/Adam’s predictions were right. Any help is appreciated! Thanks guys!
