Run of the mill show. Bit of a crazy call where a woman’s daughter was taken away and they can never get to the bottom of why she was taken away.
Origin of the “boring bit” drop that Anderson loves. He is actually answering a carpentry question about aluminum siding question.
Anderson also signals for a lightning round and even Adam objects. He does oblige for some stripper DJ talk, which I always appreciate.
Creeeeeeeepy dude into blood play that he gets at the meat market for $15 a gallon at 1:18. Yeesh…
Sorry for the poor grammar – it must be because I recently listened to a LL epi where Adam becomes obsessed by people saying “Question.” before asking a question. QUESTION! QUESTION! STATEMENT! STATEMENT!
A guy calls in with a carpentry question and he and Adam discuss this guy’s door jamb for the next few minutes. I just picture the bigwigs of KROQ back when they needed a new permanent co-host for this show, hiring Adam because they like his sense of humor, and how over the years they’ve had to constantly remind him to take more calls. Now I picture them driving down the road and thinking “hm, let me tune in and see what’s going on on Loveline.” They punch up the station and it’s Adam going on about his redneck litmus test of oak versus aluminum door jambs and taking carpentry questions. haha.
Boring bit drop origin round 103
Funny episode and has the source of the “boring bit” drop at 1:03:00
The show opens with Adam’s consequences for kicking the thermostat off the studio wall.
Strangely prophetic discussion with Drew, Adam and Anderson at the end of the first hour about SARS and people being overly freaked out about it.
Origin of “boring bit” drop around 63 minutes
