Yeah, he’s annoying. (FYI, the guy wrote a book about how to pick up girls.) Here’s a summary of one great exchange:

Adam: So, what should a guy do other than go up to a girl at a party and say hello?
Gabe: [Rambles for a few minutes.] You know, you can just go up to her and say hello.

    Sounds like a GREAT resource.

LOLZ. I spotted this clown’s book in a bookstore last night. Hand to God, one of his ice-breakers is, “Where were you on 9/11?”

On the show and in his book, Gabe Fischbarg uses the word “rap” about 8,913 times more than a Jewish attorney should in his entire life.

  3. inFRUITthe

Christ – this guest is an ass hole. Adam pronounces his name incorrectly and he is all put off. He asks if Adam got the name of the book right and he goes “yes – How to Pick Upppp Little Boys!”. badum ching! Eat it dude doucher. Also a GREAT mason jar call.

  4. acerocolla

this guest is SUCH a dweeb and it should be noted that his book bombed. amazing to listen to in retrospect … adam must have been biting his tongue SO hard during this episode.

  5. BMacC

This guys seems agitated they aren’t talking about his book enough, he keeps cutting in with relevancies Drew and Adam’s conversation has w/ his book. I would not want to be next to this obnoxious goomper on an airplane. His advice to males for picking up women ranges from hyper-obvious, to petulant, to flat out wrong. Guest is a super-douche from another galaxy, but still enertaining as is one of Adam’s great passive-aggressive episodes.

Caller’s use of “going on the Internet” and “when I go on the Internet” sound antiquated and nostalgic, 10 years later we’re all just “on” the Internet.

  7. snowblindfriend

Horrible, horrible guest. At one point he suggests telling a girl a bad joke and using the amount of laughter as a gauge to see how interested she is. Adam busts him pretty bad on that one. If I wasn’t dead set on listening to EVERY Loveline episode in order, I’d have skipped this one…

  8. iowaandy

Adam shows up late because of Jimmy Kimmel Live and sees through Gabe very quickly. After Gabe gives Adam a hard time about his name and the title of his book, Adam basically destroys him going into the first break.
To Gabe’s credit, he realizes it will be a very long two hours if he keeps taking himself too seriously and lightens up a bit. But between Heidi on the previous show and this one, two guests with lots of bad advice.
