In my opinion, THE BEST F**CKING lightning round ever!! Anderson figures out how to hook up the reverb on Adam’s mike and for the entire last break he just goes nuts with it, non-stop….

The lightning round with reverb was awesome wish Adam would use it more often.
i love this episode. i remember hearing it live, waiting in my car to go inside till it ended.
i love the the call from Doug, who is calling from a telephone company, and Adam Drew can’t believe how good and clear his phone connection is, because ‘they’ve got the good equipment.’ This always stuck with me. I just love how those little rare pleasures are such a big deal to Adam and Drew, who spend every night struggling to understand mumbling people and yelling at them to turn their radios down.
And yes the lighting round is genius.
Adam: “Drew, why is it that when you were younger and you would start jogging, you’d get that stitch in your side, just like a pinch. But you never get that when you’re older.”
Drew: “I’ve often wondered that myself, I have no idea.”
Anderson: “I still get that all the time.”
Drew: “Yeah but that’s because you’re on steroids.”
Adam: “You’re on the juice and eat hockey pucks.”
Anderson: “Do I really look like I’m on steroids? Cool.”
Adam: “Eh…just your hair.”
During the reverb lightning round, a kid calls and says his girlfriend has epilepsy. Anderson plays a drop of snoring because he thinks epilepsy is narcolepsy.
God, I loved Adam’s bit about taking his penis out for a walk.

A good episode with a little bit of everything. Usually not a big fan of the lightning round but this was a good one.

Doug, the caller at 40:20 has always stuck with me, the amazement of Adam and Drew at the quality of his phone connection just makes me smile, it’s the little things I tell ya.
Haha good catch with the epilepsy/narcolepsy confusion. I wouldn’t have guessed Anderson likes reverb so much, maybe it’s just a novelty.
