He recently (at the time) found out she had been cheating on him with multiple famous actors, at one point in the show DAG coughs while saying the names to avoid legal troubles. During the show Engineer Anderson slows down the recording and plays it back, and the listeners are able to discern the names Tom Sizemore and Colin Farell from them. The third person is actually Cuba Gooding Jr.
What’s up with this one… can it be deleted?
Yea, it’s quite easy to discern who that third person was; all the clues were “fattest sleaziest crank snorter (Sizemore)”, “leprechaun (Colin Farrell)”, and “four coughing syllables, won an Oscar (Cuba)”. Adam also alludes to Fidel Castro about the third one.
One of the best Lovelines of all time! DAG’s falling apart, and Adam and Drew are at their best to counter his craziness.
just an all time great episode
Dr. Drew: “What the F has happened to the show??!!” ….LMAO!!! DAG is out of control!!
There were a lot of gems in this episodes but one of my favorites is:
DAG: I love her! She did me wrong! Ow ow ow ow ow ow!
Drew: Ow, yes, ow, but you know what…
Adam: Thank god you’re over it.
And also when DAG goes: “Ohhhh technology, RUINED the theatre!”
My favorite episode of all time. When I broke up with my girlfriend, hearing this episode made me feel a whole lot better.
I like DAG, but I think I know why the producers of Loveline may have had enough of him by 2006. There are times when it becomes the DAG show instead of Loveline, and as funny as it is, it becomes an obstacle to the show’s core mission: helping people.
Yes! The origin of Dr. Drew’s mom puttin a pinkie in his dumper at minute 56:00.
This episode is crazy!! From 46:40 to 56:25 this show really breaks down and becomes the DAG show. Such a wildly hilarious ten minutes! The coughing segment and then “Did Mrs. Pinsky put her little pinky in Dr. Drews lil’ dumper?!?!?!?!” Hahhaha! It makes me laugh everytime, Dr. Drews “What the F has happen to this show???” just about sums it up. Such an apt realization for now much the show disintegrated
You can debate the top 5 but DAG has the be the
#1 best LL guest ever!
DAG’s misfortune (a nasty breakup with his gf of 4 years) benefits the Loveline listeners as they’re treated to some hilarious comedy. I remember hearing this one live and laughing my ass off. Still just as funny.
5/5
This is definitely my favorite DAG show. “I POPPED THE CORK AND DOWNED IT!!”.
What can be said about DAG episodes that hasn’t already been said about Afghanistan. Shit is out of control!
DAG’s funny, but the Cyber Adam bit was great too. Classic episode
@spinfly, I see your point but the producers are there above all to get listeners and hence advertising $, so entertainment ultimately trumps all. I think Adam was a big part of DAG constantly being on the show since besides being good friends they had great on air chemistry, and once he was gone, there was alot less of a reason for DAG to be there. I’m guessing at that point they had enough, as DAG (imo at least) bordered on obnoxious even with the crutch of Adam’s chemistry (he was always ultimately awesome though) but once Adam was gone so was what made DAG palatable and it was alot easier to ban him. Just my 2 cents. Great episode though, probably DAG’s best.
Caller: “Adam, you’re blowing off all these people who call in with serious problems. Quit coasting through your job!”
Immediately followed by 5 minutes of Cyber Adam. Awesome.
20:47 – 21:03 Dr Drew tells DAG to be like a blackjack dealer and just walk away from his bad relationship, and now beings DAG is single, Adam says, “BTW Blackjack is what will be going on tonight when David gets home” HAHAHAHAHAH
1:20:03 “I’m wondering what happened to my life that I’m sitting here thinking about rouge semen” -Dr Drew hahahahaha!!! Ohh man this is a great episode
agree with yohannis, this episode absolutely helps with breakups. DAG is hilarious. One of my favorites
I like when Drew tells DAG “you have to have enough wholeness of self to be done with those type of people” referring to his trifling ex
Good advice
DAG is a top 3 guest always. Good times.
DAG always brings it, sure. Yet, his antics become tiresome after a while. I only lasted 40 minutes here. Moving along.
01:08:09 Adam gives his opinion on the division of labor during a marriage. Drew has an alternate view.
Who is the tramp that cheated on DAG?
