Show Summary:

CLL #1486 (feat. Joe Rogan)
06/10/2001 – Sunday Night Show
Source – Stream Recording (2001)

This episode is 100% complete, Joe is making his 3rd appearance on CLL. This a Sleeper Classic, many fans debate whether Adam and Joe got along. Once again listen and decide for yourself and remember Joe comes back several more times before Adam's departure and almost entirely stopped doing the show after.

Caller Tara tries to say "I drink alcohol," but slurs her speech, is the source of the "why you act so stupid like dat?" drop and also asks Dr. Drew if he is a doctor.

I love how much Joe and Adam really don’t like each other, and it shows, but they try to keep it civil. It’s also funny how predictably immature Rogan is about certain things, and how it’s so obvious that he recently started smoking weed

In my opinion this is the best episode of loveline. Joe is an engaging, smart, and hilarious guest. Idk what these other people are talking about saying “It’s obvious Adam and Joe dislike each other.” Because I don’t get that a bit. Not to mention these are some of the craziest/stupid callers I’ve ever heard. Fantastic show. Not to mention I love Joes reaction to the first wicken chicks call about Angelina Jolie…classic lol

Joe is on promoting Fear Factor, which at this point is brand new and about to air for the first time. Adam doesn’t know it yet, but he will go on to hate the show with a burning hot passion and mention it many times over the years.

He rants about sitting down to eat dinner and turning on the TV to see some guy eating a plate of bull cock and washing it down by guzzling a gallon of horse jizz. Meanwhile nobody is allowed to cuss on TV or show boobs.

And as people have mentioned below, this episode is the source of two famous drops that will be played countless times over the years.

When people say Rogan and Carolla hate each other, I think what they’re picking up on is the fact that Rogan doesn’t know how to not take statements seriously. So when Adam tries to joke about something, Rogan tries to intellectualize it with his stoner horseshit. He’s also quite judgemental. He’s still that way today. Pretty average episode, in my opinion. Would have been better with no guest.

Great show. Caller Tara is an all-timer. Joe plays his position well. I have no idea how he sounds now because I’m the only person who has never listen to him outside this episode, but here he’s good.
