Fucking great Lightning Round at 1:24:40
Robert M 21 at 25:08- also may I add- has 3 kids with his EX-WIFE at that age. First child at 14, married at 15.
A really good Drew joke gets totally passed over. I don’t think Adam heard or understood what he meant otherwise he would’ve given him props.
A gay kid calls and says his gay male friend told him to come over to his house so he could cook him dinner to cheer him up (the caller said he was having a bad day). The friend told him that his parents wouldn’t be home and that he would “make him feel better….but not sexually.”
The kid is hesitant because he doesn’t know if the friend is making a move on him or just wanting to comfort him in a strictly friendly way.
Adam: “You could read that a couple different ways.”
Drew: “Yeah, there needs to be a gay-to-English dictionary.”
Drew deserved some recognition for that one. Usually when he makes a funny Adam points it out, the rare occurrence that it is. Drew knows it was a missed opportunity so he brings it up again right after the call. Adam barely reacts to it and moves on to the next call.
Props Drew. Better late than never.
I’ve never been a huge fan of the lightning round…
“Maybe he got drunk and went down on a tostada.”
Such an adorable call here from a young gay guy who has a young gay friend whom he’s getting mixed signals from. Friend asked him over to make him dinner.
“I guess one advantage to having your gay son come out is having a gourmet chef full-time at the house.” – Adam
