Adam’s insecurity is exposed at around minute 37…
Lots of great calls right around the middle. Adam has a lot of great lines.”It’s not ‘took out’, it’s ‘tooked out'”. Then the call after that says “I’m a paleontologist. You know. One of them foot doctors.” Followed by a caller who is into bizzare porn including “colostomy bag” porn.
Per Adam, the greatest part of anything in life is the anticipation.
Kid calls in and says he has “too much of a relationship with his right hand.” Adam follows along with this theme.
Adam: “That was how it was for me in the beginning. I met my right hand around the 8th grade, and we didn’t really hit it off right away. Saw each other in the halls, had some mutual friends….like my left hand, and my testicles. Then one night my right hand and my penis met and it was magic. They’ve been together ever since.”
Adam says he tried leaving tickets for Bruce at the will call window at the Super Bowl of Motorsports that they went to, but realized he doesn’t know Bruce’s last name.
Ticket window lady: “What’s his last name?”
Adam: “I don’t know. His name’s Dr. Bruce.”
Ticket window lady: “We need a last name.”
Adam: “He looks like Opie Taylor and Ichabod Crane mixed together.”
Dr. Bruce: “They all started laughing when I showed up to the window.”
Adam then prods Dr. Bruce to reveal his last name. Bruce says “in 17 years on this show Dr. Drew has never revealed his last name.”
This is true to this point, but it’s not long before Drew does the grand reveal live on air.

Another appearance from “Gay Caller Brian,” one of my favorite habitual/repeat callers from 2001-2002.
@aznchicken, I see what mean but I disagree it’s an “insecurity”…. Bruce is the main perpetrator, but Drew sometimes too, talks down to Adam as if they haven’t even begun to digest what his opinion is on a topic, which most always turns out being right….there was some serious tension between the two in this epsisode, starting about 0:30:00, and Adam was 100% right….Bruce was actually arguing against something Drew always says- if a young teenager moves out of parent’s house or runs away, there is some kind of abuse going on at home….Dr. Bruce is so retarded at times, I feel Adam’s pain on this one.
Aznchicken is right Adam gets a serious inferiority thing going on at the 30 min mark… Although he was right lol. This was also during the time he thought the miata was a gay car despite its RWD 2000lb chassis. He has changed his mind since then haha
