Show Summary:
From the band Perfect Circle
Boring, rude guests.
Adam talks about not doing mushrooms anymore. (min.122)
guests weren’t so horrible. but they don’t talk a lot. still worth a listen
I love Maynard’s music, but he is a HORRIBLE guest. Just seems pissed off that he is there, doesn’t participant at all.
Guests were fine, below comments are inaccurate. They warmed up and got more involved at some point, Maynard found Adam pretty funny.
I’ve always loved tool and some apc songs. Stoked to have mjk on. Based on a lot of his songs that came before this he was knowledgable on the cycle of abuse and probably had a opinions during those first few calls but stayed quiet maybe out of nervousness who knows. They really did start to open up at the end which was better. I do wish they did talk more through the show id like to hear their opinion on more stuff. I didn’t think they were bad guests though, they found Adam funny and were thankful for being on
Also after I typed that, I somehow forgot and then remembered my username on here was named after one of my favorite Tool songs. XD
Nine minutes and twenty three seconds long & about over thinking and living in the moment, cool song that i thought was like the greatest song ever when i first discovered this website haha.
These guys have a REALLY dry sense of humor, which is easy to mistake for aloofness or apathy. They’re definitely on the quiet side but they seem pleased to be there and having a good time.
Maynard sounds like an insufferable asshole
I could not find the part where Adam talks about giving up mushrooms for good, which a comment above mentions. I would really like to hear that if anyone knows the time or ep it’s on.
Perfect circle is my favorite band. I have to agree Maynard has very dry sense of humor that I didn’t mind.
