I think that guy is being unfair. Gio, I appreciate you rescuing these old episodes especially from 2000. I used to download really bad p2p files back in the day. This site is a treat. Thank you.
Imagine telling the person responsible for you listening to this show that they’re not allowed to “tag” (add text information about the audio lineage and the show history, numbering etc.) their own files they created, using audio sources that only exist because that person exists. The most ironic part is I add naked files to the site, fans add the ones from my website, but now that the master has ordered his will be done, I will make sure every file is tagged.

Sadly no. I’ve lost over 360k unearned wages alone just due to missing hours to work on loveline. Ironically the guy illegally hosting my work on YouTube has netted over 300k in ad revenue, he also got classic loveline shutdown due to his piracy and cost us 2000 VHS tapes Anderson was going to set me up with. Now destroyed.
With overtime, extra jobs, etc. My losses are over a million if not more. I gave up having a life, getting married, having kids, home ownership and the rest of it to try to restore this thing we all love and ultimately not only was I not rewarded, my teeth are metaphorically kicked in daily as my pockets are drained and people say horrible things to and about me.
Can’t even get a wikipedia entry, not that I want one. Listeners have even attempted to get me fired from my day job, with varying degrees of success.
The guy running this site, spinfly has likely lost a hefty sum as well as he foots the bill for this entire site as a labor of love and always has and never complains .
Adam Dristle our tape man is likely out over 3k in just shipping tapes back and forth over the last decade.
Your kindness matters and helps keep me going when things are particularly bleak.

The last ten second station ID. I’m guessing the FCC stopped requiring it or something?
Great question to which I do not have an answer. A classic rock station where I live in Central NY still does top of the hour ID’s when they broadcast Yankees baseball games (feed from WFAN). I’ll ask some folks I know that work/worked in radio to see if I can get an answer as now I am curious.
The laws didn’t change, station ID notifications are required at the top of the hour, there has to have been a technology change regarding syndicated shows and local affiliates being able to interrupt without designated spots from the satellite source (beeps) or the local ads with station intro sufficed.
