After the 1:24:59 Point the remainder of the recording is a medley of 80’s Songs starting with the Rockwell song “Somebody is Watching Me” and I am not really clear why?
This recording is a rare gem, very interesting show that is set against the back drop of a guy who owns a Russian Bride Service… I enjoyed it very much… Adam and Drew have several classic occurrences of calling out listeners that originally deny Drew and Adam speculations that later cop to the truth, which is what Drew and Adam originally guessed.
Thanks, I uploaded a different version with the music cut out. Ignore the higher bit rate, same quality as the 64kbps file. I just forgot to change the settings on my computer…
The IQ Test around 0:42:00 is pretty great.
This show features Drew’s “dime for scale” joke that Adam has referenced in recent years as one of the few funny things Drew has ever said.
@edgcrushr: you are right, Drew does use the dime for scale joke in this one, but this isn’t the dime for scale show! That one is October 12, 2004. Looks like Drew used it twice, and in this show Adam just sort of glossed over it. Interesting.
Adam appreciates the “dime for scale” joke, but doesn’t marvel at it like he would 4 years later. To be fair, Drew’s delivery here isn’t as clean and perfectly timed as the 2004 version.
I like how much Adam calls out the guest’s business model as catering to losers.
Aww man this is a great episode. I love Adam telling all American women they have competition now.
Nice to hear Drew back in force after a wussy Bruce night. I believe mental health professionals should be like Drew, be very nice at their core but ready to lay down the hard truth if needed . So glad this sites back it went down for a while and I lost all hope for my life. I had to turn to YouTube . Thanks for coming back.
According to love me.com John is still Married to Tanya, with 2 kids
This date is wrong, Seth MacFarlane and Alex Borstein were on this night, the only open dates in March of 2000 are the 8th which is suspected to be Shiri Appleby without Adam and March 29th 2000. Can anyone find any date clues in this episode or the actual surrounding episodes where they surely at least mentioned John and the company he runs.
Date confirmed, file replaced. Audio upgrade. 99.9% complete.
