Guest: Barry Blaustein
Host: Adam, Dr. Drew
Listen to theShow
Show Summary:
Sound quality is 8/10. Some hissing throughout in the background, but nothing too major. It does get better throughout the show. Perhaps it is from Drew being in MN. Barry Blaustein brings some interesting info regarding pro wrestling which is the topic of his documentary.
The first few callers get Adam riled up. He's unable to get a rhythm going within the conversation. He then blames the callers for this.
Gambling on a caller, Valerie, starts at about the 32:00 mark.
High school football is brought up and Adam makes fun of Drew for going to school at Little Lord Fautleroy's School for Albino Hemophiliacs. He then says their school's football helmets were made of pewter.
Jimmy Kimmel calls in at 1:12:00 to defend himself after a Man Show bit!
Thanks to Giovanni for leaving in a commercial for Olde English 800 at the end of the show.
I enjoyed this show quite a bit. The call from Jimmy was pretty random, Barry Blaustein was pretty sharp and asked good questions, and there were some pretty interesting calls. 9/10

Adam’s a bit of a pain in the ass in this one.
learn a lot about pro wrestling by watching his doc. gave me the desire to do my own research and find out even more about it too. always wondered how rock, hbk, kane, etc managed to make hitting sounds without actually hitting/barely grazing their opponents in the ring….they slap the top of their legs/thighs with their non hitting hand. pro wrestling is definitely not as fake as some people believe but it’s not as real as others believe either. it’s like watching a show/movie with choreographed fighting in it.
Highly recommend the guest’s documentary “Behind the Mat”.
I’ve worked with much older men who were really into pro wrestling and they were like the nicest guys ever idk why I thought of that haha
Lol I just realized that Olde English 800 is a sponsor. (“Loveline is brought to you by Car Toys and Olde English 800.”)
Guest is pretty cool guy and makes me wanna see his documentary. Plenty of screwy chicks tonight
File replaced, medium audio upgrade. 100% complete.
Adam’s pronunciation of “Documenchrees” makes me chuckle.
I noticed that too. He’s got a weird way of pronouncing certain words. Like, ‘sandwidge’.
