This episode has been missing since it originally aired, not a single second of audio has been shared and the episode was written off as lost to time. As fresh off the presses as episodes come, picked up the tape at the post office 3hrs ago and now we can hear LoveLine we otherwise were never going to get a chance to hear again or for the first time for those of us who missed this one when it aired live. Sheeri is making her only appearance on CLL, based on what I've heard while editing she seems to be a fan or is just very engaged with the show. There is what sounds like an insane 'Lighting Round' and despite missing a few seconds on the return from break due to the affiliate station, then a few seconds at the tape flip after the station ID break and the entire closing goodbye segment the episode is still over 98% complete. Is this episode a lost sleeper classic of the highest order or just an alright episode that we're happy to have in the archive, let's all listen together and find out!

As fresh off the presses as LoveLine can get, one of the final “Lost Episodes” we’ll ever acquire from the final batch of what might be the final fan collection known to exist. This might be a gem of an episode, enjoy!

This is the first time we learn of Anderson using VHS to record every show!!! He declares “Must Be Done!”
Only learned via this recording in 2020, live listeners never mentioned it in the 20 years between this getting discovered, transferred and shared online.
The first time we learned of the VHS after this was in 2010 when I interviewed Anderson on the G.I.O. podcast which eventually led to me hosting CLL at Norm Pattiz (R.I.P.) behest and Anderson supplying me with 400+ of the 2500+ VHS tapes, we were scheduled to get the remaining tapes but a pirate started posting the show on YouTube and stealing ad revenue which led to them bulleting CLL and literally preventing me from getting the tapes as planned.
They’re now in a landfill, just so some person who isn’t even listener can pay off their gambling debts as admitted in pathetic rambling email apologies that never led to the files being removed. They killed actual loveline 4 months later and he never got shutdown. That’s the sad story of the VHS tapes.
What a shit show. Very unfortunate.
