Guest: Destiny's Child
Host: Adam, Dr. Drew
Listen to theShow
Show Summary:
Adam discusses his infamous Dixie Chicks story in great detail.
One of the first things Adam says to the band is "Didn't you throw out a couple of members for getting fat" Hearing them try to respond to that is hilarious.
A female caller mispronounces the word zit as sit, so Adam goes off on all the things she should do "Zit Down" and tells her that is could be a serious "Zituation"?(it's hilarious)

Pretty good show. The ladies were pleasant and contributed to the show.
Adam recounts the Natalie-from-Dixie-Chicks story again.
The girls are sweet and it’s a nice, pretty light-hearted show.
Most LL guests over the years are somewhere between the B list and the Z list, so it’s cool to have an episode with an A+++ lister (Beyonce), even if she wasn’t one at the time.
Uncle Penny, this Featured File has the songs but not ads. Don’t know if you care. I just noticed that most shows don’t have the music.
Just about all of the shows from 2001 have the songs cut out; for all other years, the songs are almost always left in. Not sure why, but that’s my observation.
it depended on who recorded or shared the show. there was a notion out there that if you got the radio recording of a song you wouldn’t go out and buy it. some bands didn’t even play whole songs, fearing they will be then spread on internets
That’s a good point, although the 2001 shows missing songs are about 7-9 minutes shorter than average, suggesting two full songs were excised after the fact.
There is a good example of the sort of thing you’re talking about on one of the Blink-182 shows. They bring up their fear of file-sharing, so they intentionally talk over portions of the song.
I love Beyonce and Destiny’s Child, but they don’t speak up with their opinions much during the calls.
I’d love to know where Farrah is now.
Destiny’s child are cool people I didn’t know there were four of them at one point
1:00:50 “say my name” a cappella
The “baffroom” call had me rolling in the floor.
apparently:
“Harper College is a comprehensive community college in Palatine, Illinois, United States”
I’m too lazy to go back and check, but I swear the first call of this episode was in the episode before this one.
