Show Summary:
A caller falls asleep while on hold and snores very loud. They check in with him constantly and make jokes. The show ends with a song and the snoring dude in the background, hilarious stuff!

Andy Dick sings several songs, including one that had to be cleaned up regarding Dick’s major beef with Chris Katan. Also a song about walking and Stephen Hawking. Dick’s songs are silly but entertaining, kind of like himself. He talks at great length about his addiction to marijuana (I was thinking he was addicted to crack or something judging on his behavior). He also talks about partying with some celebrity before he killed himself the same night. I think it was a musician – they also briefly reference Phil Hartman.
The best part is when Adam berates Drew for taking one of the instruments mid song.
Couple of amazing calls in the first 25 minutes of this show. The first one is 17yo “Leslie” who’s parents are surgeons and “tour Europe” regularly for a 2-3 months while she stays home all by herself. They have been doing this since she was 13. There is some discussion about the legality of this arrangement. She then says her parents are the most sane thing in her life because she’s been into “some stuff” that at first doesn’t want to get into on the air. After a few seconds of coercing by Adam, Drew and Andy, she claims she was a witness/accessory to a murder that was set up to look like a suicide and is currently being investigated as such. Drew is hooked and talks to her off the air during the next break.
The next call was a girl with “great parents” yet lost her virginity to a “stick” when she was 5. Adam asks how old the stick was. On the other end of the stick was a 20yo male babysitter. She then had a string of abusive boyfriends, one of which held loaded guns to her head and in her mouth while they had sex.
PERFECTLY NORMAL, PERFECTLY HEALTHY!
The person Andy was talking about that killed himself was David Strickland. He was on the TV show Suddenly Susan. Andy said the two of them were staying in a hotel together and the night of his suicide, he checked into a different hotel (The Oasis, according to Wikipedia) and hung himself. Adam and Drew talk about him being on their show just a few days before he killed himself.
P.S. I Didn’t hear the snoring call referenced in the summary. Must be meant for another episode.
That Leslie call was truly insane. She sounded completely sincere too.
How come Andy always has to be on a sobriety kick when he’s in? Are there any shows where he’s loaded?
Here’s Andy with his girlfriend Lisa, who’s in the studio. She does not disappoint.

Someone should listen to Andy Dick on the JRE through youtube. he basically describes how his then girlfriend Lisa started cheating on andy with jeff goldblum and then later Jeff and Lisa were planning on framing his death. very fascinating
The always unfortunately entertaining Andy dick lol
Commonly used Andy Dick drop.
The summary here actually applies for the 2000 show.
Pretty good show. I surprisingly enjoyed Andy Dicks songs.

Andy Dick explains his song entitled “Chris Kattan” around 0:30:03
1:18:45 A spontaneous start of one of Andy Dick’s songs.
I think the description, and even one of the comments might be off here. I heard no snoring caller. The show ends with an Andy Dick song, but no snoring played in the background. Perhaps this description is for another episode? If so, I’d like to know which one, because that sounds hilarious!
Church: The snoring caller actually happens during the Tuesday, May 2, 2000 show (https://lovelinetapes.com/shows/?id=558&h=NGI0ODE1MzV) and you can hear them perform at the 1 hour 21 minute mark with him in the background.
Where can we find the marihuana so g sind to the tune of na na na na hey hey hey goodbye? That just unlocked an old memory
