11/03/1999 – Wednesday Night Show
Source – Lost Tape (2017) with Tobydog Tape (pre-2007) Patches
This is a new tape for a formerly incomplete episode, we had a Tobydog tape from before my era of transferring cassettes with very rough audio and only about 70% complete, we now have the full show with a huge audio upgrade. All 3 guests are making their only appearances on Loveline. This is a legendary episode, do not miss it!

guests in a really good mood, this is also the show where david arquette busts in the studio ten minutes after Adam was calling him crazy live on the air, and after being told off by Drew, said it was OK because he “would never find the studio”
I have been waiting to hear this show for a long time as it is referenced in many others. Props to David Arquette’s crazy ass for busting into the studio. He is rangy – that is for sure. Adam is audibly thrown off and doesn’t even immediately call any of his female celebrity crushes crazy so they might magically appear. A great example of rando Loveline magic.
The legendary David Arquette episode! Awesome!
Great episode in Loveline history. Arquette is actually crazy enough to make this one special. The guests are pretty crappy though. They don’t add much to the show.
One thing you might have missed listening to this is that Catherine Keener is in the studio. I think she says maybe 15 words the entire 2 hours.
I remember listening to this one live. Arquette showing up was a pretty hilarious moment in Loveline history. 5/5
Big gaps in audio throughout and long unedited commercial breaks. This file could probably use some trimming.
Fixed, this may have been one of those shows that was in 3 or 4 parts on 3 or 4 different tapes.
Guests are pretty lame, but the visit from David Arquette makes this an awesome episode
Spike Jonze was really annoying, something about him bugs me. Like how he wouldn’t reveal where they filmed the movie.
I had a films class just last semester and my teacher made us watch clips of being John Malkovich. Personally just based of the clips we saw, I didn’t get it and found it too odd to be funny lol that’s just me though. Maybe if I saw the whole thing it’d be different. David coming in was pretty funny and he plugs the movie so it’s not a huge takeaway
Orson Bean was pretty cool – making jokes, telling stories. Good guest.
Other than David showing up unexpectedly I thought it was an decent episode
New .mp3!
fifteen minutes of non-episode that needs to be trimmed at the start
file updated.
Origin of crazy David Arquett story.
