Adam gets seriously pissed off at Drew and storms out at the start of the show. He returns with a nervous Meredith Brooks ten minutes later. Weird, awkward energy in this episode.
Wow this is the most pissed I’ve ever heard Adam get with Drew. Adam actually gets up and leaves.
Also you guys might want to make the KFMA recording the default one since its the full show and the default right now is only 37 minutes.
I concur with Rogafufuken that the larger recording should be the Default. I just request that the songs be removed.
There is a part where the tape got stretched out of the full recording. It made Drew sound like Jigsaw from the Saw movies.
I can understand his frustration, adam carried this show and they both got paid the same. If adam shows up on time, is on air at the same time, drew should have to do t he same..

I also like the songs removed, especially garbage like this haha.
adam gets mad about something that happened a couple shows before where drew was talking to the guest and sat down as the show came back from commercial instead of being there a few seconds before. really whiny stuff here from adam and i don’t know what there is to be mad about because this type of thing happened before he was even part of the show.
drew tries to be calm about it and of course this pisses adam off even more.
and i disagree with monkeyo- are you kidding me? drew started the show without adam way more often by a large margin.. probably 10:1.
didn’t want to leave on a negative note because adam pulled through and the show turned out pretty good even if drew was a little cautious for the remainder of it.
I forgot how terrible Meredith Brooks’ music is. Use of the shockingly naughty word “bitch” alone is what has kept this shit pile of adult contemporary from resounding through the aisles of Home Depot, Michaels, and other soul-crushingly mediocre franchises. (I swear to Christ, if I have to walk through PetSmart and hear “Ladies Night” one more gaddamn time, I’m smashing my head through the gerbil cage. I’m bitter.)

That’s some good radio in the beginning… Adam needs therapy, therapy and more therapy.
I completely understand why Adam gets so mad here. This is a classic example of Dr. Drew’s narcissism. He’s mister compassionate when dealing with strangers, but when his friend and radio partner is upset, he suddenly becomes obtuse. It’s extremely passive aggressive. It’s not that much of a stretch that he should be in the studio when the show he’s a host on is starting, but he acts like Adam is way out of line for even thinking of it.
Adam is a super controlling dude. Hypocrite too. I remember him saying he always goes to set late when he gets movie roles, because he hates waiting around.
This seems to be the first “Lightening Round” with the use of a real cow bell, sounded like a bell or a bad sound effect prior to this ep.
