Great show. Lots of people that came from pure chaos. And the “my father’s my brother” call is radio gold. Just brilliant.
Holy freaking crap! That call is just incredible. I cannot believe it! Legendary. Must listen. It is around 45 min or so.
By the way, the family breakdown is like this. Randy’s mother and father had her. Randy’s father’s parents adopted Randy. Therefore, by adoption, according to Randy, Randy and her father are brother and sister because ignoring the age, Randy and her father were raised by the same people. And my ass hurts now also.
She’s one of 13 kids. The good stuff starts at 43:45.
Love the sign-off, too.
Adam – “its like a midget sticking his head through the curtains”
bwahahhaha
Hearing Drew getting exasperated and annoyed around 52 minutes is gold.
Adam talks about how ABC backed out of The Man Show at the last second, which is how it landed on Comedy Central.
Adam talks shit about “Cupid”, the show that ABC put on the air in The Man Show’s place.
Reminds me of when Family Guy got cancelled by Fox and then brought back. The first episode back, Peter just stands there and lists like 30 shows that Fox put on and cancelled during the time Family Guy was away.
Lois: “Is there no hope?”
Peter: “Well, I guess if ALL those shows get cancelled I suppose there’s a chance.”
I think the crazy adoption chick was 17? & thanks for the breakdown thecodygriffin. I was still very confused
The father/brother thing shouldn’t be confusing at all. Think of a big cluster f hillbilly family. Her biological father is in prison, her biological mother fled the country, and they left her behind with his parents (her grandparents). While it kinda does make her father her brother, in reality, her grandparents are just raising their granddaughter. It’s just a great example of the concrete thinking of loveline callers.
Adam and Drew wanted to figure out the biological relationship. The girl kept saying that her father is her brother, which is only makes sense in terms of her adoptive relationship. That’s why they got confused.
