Origin of the “twinkie hole baby” drop.
also “Thank god for Dr Drew…”
date seems wrong, around 48m they talk about Fall 2000, and saying don’t you wish something should’ve happen on turn of millennium
You’re right, the 192kbps recording has the 2000 intro, I’m putting the KNRK recording in it’s place and will try and figure out the true date for the KROQ one.
Wow, that show is actually the full version of the 2000-02-15 show with the puke sound effect origin, nice catch.
Classic! DAG is the best!
Great show. At some point Drew says “shit” unbleeped (Mike tries to lower the volume but it’s too late).
Drew talks himself into a corner about a gay marriage: he implies that he doesn’t know if it’s healthy to normalize same-sex attraction and then retracts his statement after the commercial break.
Definitely funny hearing him trying to walk back that comment. Though in the end, they did come out in favor of same-sex marriage, which was quite progressive in 1999, with only 35% of the population in favor.
Follow-up from the 1999-02-25 rare non-bogus stepmom handjob caller.
All dag shows are Great
Don’t get the high ratings for DAG. Terribly unfunny and highly annoying.
@kellybix87 …for disliking DAG so much it’s strange how you seem to be so into commenting on so many of the shows featuring him. Hmmmm
DAG episodes absolutely kill me. my face hurts. 5 stars
“The way you are responding is what we like to call denial.”
“Hmm?”
DAG not funny? People who think like that should be forced to get tattoos so others can avoid them. DAG is amazing.
One thing I like about DAG, at least when he doesn’t go overboard, is that Adam personally finds him funny. Hearing Adam snicker or laugh in the background makes me feel good about listening. Sometimes the guys make it seem like it’s such a chore to work the show.
DAG makes me laugh like no other
