This show was about 6 months before Kid Rock huge and the whole world knew who he was. He’s pretty funny with the callers and participates a lot.
Kid rock is a real mensch. A girl calls in saying that she can’t get to one of his shows, so he offers to give her a round-trip ticket and put her up in a hotel room for free.

From a young age I always knew I didn’t like kid Rock and I guess I have a reason why. He’s a terrible person it’s just that he’s kinda funny in a “I can look down on him way.” (Not financially of course.) Especially being a suburban rapper c’mon! I still didn’t mind him as a guest, bad person tho
You should really get to know the guy better before you say that kind of stuff. Bobby has done great things for many people and is consistently one of the nicest guys in show business. His help for Detroit alone has been amazing. You don’t have to love him, but at least give the guy a chance.

So calling a person by his name is ironic now? Most people that know him, know him as Bobby.
I can see knucklhd’s point. It’s generally considered an arrogant thing when you see celebrities talking about other celebs and using their real name like “oh working with Bobby Deniro was a real treat, he’s such a mench and a real sweetheart. Just a really generous actor. Bobby’s great.” But at least the celebs know Robert Deniro who specifically asked them to call him Bobby. Hearing a regular person who doesn’t know Kid Rock call him Bobby makes it seem like you’re trying to sound initiated or close to him. I’m not saying that’s what you’re doing, I’m saying that’s what it sounds like.

I’m not angry, upset or anything, just generally confused by the comment. I do know him personally and have for quite a few years. I don’t usually comment on here but when I saw that he ( I don’t know what to call him now cause I don’t want to backtrack and say kid and be called out and I don’t want to day Bobby again and be considered arrogant, which again, I don’t get) was on here I was excited as I love him and I love loveline. When I saw somebody calling him a bad person I thought I should give him at least a tiny bit of defense, didn’t want to force it on anyone though so I phrased it rather passively.
All good though, I just need to remember to stay away from writing comments again.
Well now you’re just being dramatic cauterized. If you know the guy and were asked to call him Bobby then it’s all good. But don’t pretend to be “confused” by my comment. If you didn’t know Kid Rock and called him Bobby anyway, it would be like me walking around calling Robert Dinero “Bobby” like celebrities who have worked with him do in interviews. I would be a weird douche if I did that. But you do know Kid Rock so you get a pass. Good on ya mate. Just keep in mind there was no way for anyone to know that, which is why went down the path we went.
And if you reread my comment you’ll notice I allowed some wiggle room at the end by saying “I’m not saying that’s what you’re doing. I’m saying that’s what it sounds like to other people.” That was just in case you actually did know Kid Rock, which apparently you do. So my comment doesn’t apply to you anyway, in which case there’s no reason for you to take offense.
No need to sign off with “I just need to stay away from writing comments” like a wounded child or a middle school girl. Nobody was attacking you to begin with.

Maybe landlubber should post his/her email for people to talk to him and leave the comment pages for comments about the show and not his/her arguments and negative statements that seem to be everywhere….

Thanks lordoftheview, but It’s all good. No hate. Wdf is a little chapped because I just responded directly to him yesterday about the DAG episodes. You can’t tell someone’s tone from text so when people see their name in a post where someone is disagreeing with them they automatically assume they’re being attacked. Wdf, I don’t troll the boards looking for arguments. I’ve made a million comments on a million episodes on this site and I’ve been in maybe four disagreements like this one. You just happened to find two of them in the last two days, which I’m assuming is why you think they’re “everywhere.” And I won’t post my email but my facebook address is on my profile page if you feel like writing me a sternly worded response. Now back to the show!

“Kid” comes out of the gate a little unkempt, but he ends up contributing a lot and seems to vibe with Drew and Adam pretty well
