Show Summary:
Adam admits to missing Drew who had been in New York and just got back last night. The Oscar awards were on earlier in the night. Drew says neither him nor his wife has seen The Shining. Engineer Mike also admits to have never seen The Shining.
Drew says Pamela Lee Anderson is a young woman who cross dresses.
The first caller is a girl who is obsessed with piercings. Drew goes to give out some numbers but the girl cuts him off and asks if Korn will be on the show anytime soon.
A 17 year old girl spent the weekend at a hotel with her friends. Drew and Adam spend 5 minutes trying to figure out why she was staying in a hotel and she is impossible to get an answer out of.
Adam is thinking about wearing a dog cone collar because he scratches himself at night and wakes up his girlfriend.
A caller gets Adam going on a red left turn arrows rant. When the caller mentions he is calling his shrink, Adam says he's never called his shrink and doesn't even have the number.
Caller Rita just lost her 22 month year old son that drowned.
Earlier in the day, Adam was given some plane tickets that said "P Class" on it. Adam had no clue what the P stood for. He says C should be for coach, B should be for business, and F should be for first class seats.
A caller tells Drew he will want to answer his question. Of course the question ends up being better for Adam to answer.
A caller by the name of Paul had a huge breakdown with his wife. She had recently stabbed herself with a butcher knife in front of their kids.

Okay, the call with the girl at the hotel was really strange, and not for the usual reasons that a call is strange on this show. In this case Adam and Drew are completely retarded.
The girl was at a hotel party and got date raped. For some reason Adam and Drew get REALLY interested in why she was at the hotel. Keep in mind, she was there because her friends got a hotel room to drink and party….you know….like every human on the planet has done. And even if they haven’t done it, it’s not a hard concept to grasp.
They ask her like 15 times why she was at the hotel. She says “uh, because my friends were all there, they got the room.” They still struggle with it so they keep asking her in different ways why she was there. She doesn’t know how else to answer the question.
Adam: “I’m just trying to figure out why you’re in a hotel if you’re in your own town. You weren’t traveling?”
The girl is 17. Adam thinks she’s on a goddamn business trip?
Adam: “Don’t make us spend ten minutes trying to figure out why you were at the hotel. It’s a normal question. When someone says they were at a hotel, were they in Europe, did their house catch on fire, why were they in the hotel?
What. The. Fuck? She said she was at the hotel because her friends got a room to party. She said it at least twice and maybe three times after they asked her. One of Adam’s famous stories is about him being at a hotel party when he was young and he got in a fight with two guys in the parking lot. So I know he’s heard of people going to hotels in their own town to drink. And I know he heard the girl say that’s what she was doing at the hotel.
Am I in the fucking Twilight Zone? Why do they have such a hard time understanding a very minor and inconsequential detail of her date rape story?
Maybe it’s a regional thing, but in the Northeast I’ve never attended, or even heard of someone else attending, a hotel party.
Are you referring to the infamous baseball bat/broken bottle street fight? That happened after Adam left a ‘make-out party’ held at some girl’s house in the Valley.
Even if you’ve never been to a hotel party, I wager that it didn’t take you that long to pick up on what she was talking about during that call. They were cocking their heads like confused dogs while she explained it.
And the Adam fight I’m talking about isn’t that one. He was at a hotel drinking with a bunch of people when a guy called looking for a girl. He said “I don’t know anybody by that name” and they thought Adam was screwing with them so they said they were coming down there to kick his ass. He said “bring it on.”
They showed up and he kicked two guy’s asses in the parking lot of the hotel because they came at him with wide looping punches while he stuck them right down the middle with one shot each. He told the story on Howard Stern while talking about his youth.
It’s rare but they do a little over probing sometimes. The guy with the piercings was spot on though. I think it’s their over-probing that’s taught me so much

Ha ha ha I feel your pain Landlubber! That was brutal, and I agree, both that Pastahero is likely in some very rare company, and also that, the first time she (basically) says “uh my friends rented a room and we were partying”, the boys should have said “oh Ok”. But man, does that ever not happen.
Reminds me of the time neither Drew OR Adam had any idea what a bowl was. Yeah that’s right, a bowl. I wish I knew the ep , and they gave the girl shit too just like they do here lol. Just bizarre.
I gotta have pastahero’s back on this one, I’ve lived in NYC and NJ metro/shore my whole life and never heard of hotel parties unless it was like at the beach after prom or something official, but that may bc hotel prices in this part of the country aren’t really conducive to that haha. $500-600/night for a tiny room at AC or in the cities isn’t really workable.
Krupocin, you say you haven’t heard of hotel parties and then immediately list an example of one with the after-prom beach thing. You just proved my entire point. Given the context of the call, there should be no reason for Adam and Drew to be COMPLETELY perplexed as to why a young person would be with friends at a hotel.
“My friends got a hotel room to party.” Hmm, what could that mean? She must be hosting a Dairy Farmers of America convention in the conference room.
Blah yet another average episode. Not bad but none of the callers really stuck out to me in any real way.
I agree with everyone on the hotel thing. What can’t they understand about renting a room when you’re underage to drink in.
Seems pretty obvious to me.
