Guest: The Flys
Host: Adam, Dr. Drew
Listen to theShow
Show Summary:
The two guests are great, they are brothers who started a band.
I only remember that they had a song on the "Disturbing Behavior" soundtrack, nonetheless the guys are fantastic.
They discuss their Bizarre childhood(s) and their father, a traveling physician/surfer.
The guests are very smart and lay out some ideas and advice that Drew and Adam agree with.
Adam has tons of funny moments this show, the guys really seem to dig his humor.
Both the brothers accents sound like a cross between "Criss Angel and Tom Burbine" it's hilarious!!
Great show.
“Enjoy”
I had listened to another show where the Flys were on and their background is fascinating – 9 kids and their father is a brilliant but eccentric man. They were a fun band, although one hit wonders, and the group chemistry is good. Show cuts out around minute 42 for awhile.
Most of the show is good, but towards the end the Flys sound like jerks. They also sound a little drunk by then, so maybe that’s it.
I hate how when Adam says that men can’t be bisexual, his ONLY example is Elton John, who said he was bisexual and later came out as gay. Andy Dick never counts, and apparently no one’s ever told him about David Bowie or Oliver Stone or Mick Jagger.
Pretty good show, the guests were very nice.
Th guest were cool. The idea of the molestation clinic came up and idk why it isn’t Bering funded
Caller drops the S bomb right when Engineer Mike goes to the bathroom. Adam is too afraid to push the dump button because it might “drop a panel in the wall and reveal one of Lycus’s dead ex wifes”
I’m curious why unclepenny said their accents sounded like “Criss Angel and Tom Burbine” since Tom didn’t even come on the show until 2005 and they hadn’t met or heard of him previously.
@logistics2 Tom Burbine wasn’t mentioned on the show itself; unclepenny is comparing retrospectively. You can say Taylor Hill looks like Audrey Hepburn, even though she was born after Hepburn died.
Fair enough, it’s strange he put it in quotation marks like it was said during the show.

Great guests and a good show
