Show Summary:
Smoke detector
Smoke detector detected – minute 39. Unfortch this is prior to their obsession with the alarm – where they make the caller shut up so they can time it out. Although – Adam threatens to come over and beat it with a bat around minute 41. Apparently it has been going off for over a year – yikes.
Natasha Lyonne I believe has conquered her drug addled demons now but probably had not when the show was on. She is batty but not completely out of it.
Natasha was kinda quiet through most of the calls. An interesting LSD one near the end. Pretty decent jokes and calls though in this ep.
Natasha is kind of an idiot. Says she believes in psychics, challenges Dr. Drew when he suggests one caller’s childhood is less than stellar, otherwise has little or nothing to contribute. She did her part to drag down an otherwise decent show.
I LOL’d at caller’s answer at ~16 min in, when Adam asks what position caller played in pop warner football.
Uhhhhhh if this guy at 1:16 says “basically” one more time, I will explode. We needed the bell back then.
Classic Loveline episode #756 (feat. Natasha Lyonne): http://archive.org/download/GIOPOD/GLL756.mp3
Really sounds like Adam hates her
Natasha is not a great guest, just not in sync with the hosts. Episode is still good, despite the bad mojo

Drew: “People sometimes discount what happened before they were five when they are the most open to these traumas, that’s when these have the most significant influences on what they do.”
Natasha: “That explains a lot [Unintelligible] …about myself”
Eerily enough, Nastasha will go on to have issues with heroin, legal troubles, relationships, a sexual identity crisis — to say nothing of her estranged dad and absent mother. Quite the typical Loveline Caller Profile for someone who derides Ace and Drew for having a “fixation” on abuse!
