It’s Bobbie Brown – the model? that was in the “Cherry Pie” video. She is on because she wrote some kind of tell all about Tommy Lee being abusive towards her yet she does not want to discuss it on the show. Woof. She is not a great guest and is kind of angry and aloof. If you made a living shaking your ass and banging rocks stars – you should be willing and able to discuss it, especially on Loveline.
Yea she was especially weird when Adam would joke about them being together… Nothing too exceptional though… Also it seems weird that Michael Jordan is going through his last playoff runn with the bulls. Seemed like society stayed more similar than sports… Idk it may be obvious but it seems odd to me
This girls speech is rushed and she intermittently goes through manic phases throughout this episode. Its very obvious she had a history of speed.
I’m not sure what the other commenters are talking about. I thought Bobbie was a pretty good guest. She’s open about her own history of abuse and the fact that she was in recovery and seems to be interested in the show. She even takes Adam’s advances in stride. Nothing amazing, but I liked this one.
Bobbie was okay, not great. Adam seemed a bit flustered.
I really enjoyed Bobbie and her chemistry with Adam. I think some the listeners took her confidence for hostility. I really enjoyed where Adam was talking about he’s too lazy to have two women, but could probably do two televisions.
Also, this is where we get the “pee on this stick” Drew Drop. Around the 1:26/1:27 mark.
It’s surprising how some commenters have trouble reading a person’s tone. This is a solid episode and Adam is always very funny when he’s flirting with a hot female guest that can’t help but laugh at his jokes. Her issues in the past with her dad and Tommy Lee abusing her make her a hardened woman, but she’s a good contributor to the show.
Aside from the guest, it’s funny how Drew sounds a bit different in older episodes. He’s much more in “doctor mode” and has an empathetic tone that would make me want to tell him all my deepest darkest secrets.
I liked this guest and I usually hate the vapid/skank/ hot chick episodes. Adam was on his best desperate impress the hot guest game. Very funny. Bobbie was a bit awkward at first discussing the abuse and the book but she was uncomfortable not hostile imo. As soon as they got to callers she relaxed and batted back and forth with Adam nicely. Adam pulls ponytail, hot guest laughs in spite of herself, and pokes back at him. A very familiar recipe with the smarter more ballsy women.
Pretty crazy call about a guy who has tried to kill caller Julie by running her over with his car while she is on her bike. She knows who is doing it but keeps saying they can’t find the car. It eventually comes to light that she hasn’t even filed a police report.
