Show Summary:
This starts just a few minutes late. Adam says Harvey Danger will be in later and that he loves their song. Drew is reading a fax addressed to Adam from a recent caller. This guy's wife was going to have twins but one would probably have to be aborted. This letter states they didn't listen to him when he called in. They talked to him for 10 minutes on two different shows. Apparently he tried to call in again but didn't get through.
Adam uses the reverb button to demonstrate how he'd make an announcement on a bullhorn if he had sex when he was 14. Caller John asks Drew if crystal meth makes your brain crumble and Drew gets fired up about these wives tales.
Adam mentions his high school prom date Jenny died about 4 years after they went. She died during an aerobics class from a rare heart condition. Coming back from a break Adam says Drew is still in the bathroom. Producer Ann says he uses the women's bathroom and doesn't put the seat down. Apparently Harvey Danger had some trouble with their limo and are still on their way.
The band comes in and Adam starts to praise their song. Drew tries to move the show along but Adam has his mic shut off.
Adam and Drew attempt to do a Loveline reenactment but the caller tries to answer while Adam and Drew are talking. The reason they have to make fun of him is because he asked for some "reinsurance."
Adam talks about the time Drew and him went to the pottery barn and picked up a salad bowl for Ann's birthday. They think back to an Insane Clown Posse show and how crazy
the guys were. Apparently Violent Jay was just locked up. Drew is says it's disrespectful for Adam to see his therapist when he is drunk.

I think this is one of those shows that Adam brings up when he talks about terrible guests. I assume so, anyway, I don’t see any other Harvey Danger episodes in the archive.
The band was 35 minutes late due to problems with their limo ride. Luckily karma stepped in and these guys haven’t seen the inside of a limo since 1998.
The band was low key but not bad or boring. Around 1:23:00 a caller does theater work with kids in drug/alcohol recovery. The guy in the band says “better that then the church”.
The last caller is a 12 yo girl with stretch marks on her tits who wants to do self tatooing. Ouch.
god adam was such a dick back then. can’t wait for anderson to come in….
Based on the other comments I thought they’d be worse than they were, they were alright…
A girl I dated for a while in high school died similarly to Adam’s prom date. I didn’t go to prom with her but she was a very nice girl. She had a congenital heart defect and died before she could even graduate high school. She was 17 I think. It freaked me out pretty good. I’ve since had a LOT of friends die on me but that one really affected me. I guess it’s just bad luck having known so many people who ended up dead but I’ll tell you, it’s not gotten any easier no matter how many times it happens. And it happens about once a year at minimum. Super weird but I guess someone has to be in that position.
Not a bad show but not one I care to listen to again.
