ICP is always a crazy mixed bag. They are abusive and crass but often times hilarious. Not the best ICP episode but solid just the same. I can’t believe these retards are millionaires. Woof. And fathers……AYIEEEEEEEEEE!
They’re millionaires because they realized early that they weren’t gonna get the usual help other successful acts get and said screw it and worked they’re asses off to get to where they are. Love em’ or hate em’, you gotta have some respect for they’re work ethic.
The call at ~54 minutes is funny as hell. Steve is 44, his whole family died of heart attacks (not so funny). He joined a cult, helped put away a pedophile, etc. Violent Jay rips into this guy so hard, it’s amazing. “Who the hell has that kind of life?”
I am not sure, but it seems like this might be ICP’s first appearance or at the very least, an early one. Pretty interesting to hear them before they really achieved nationwide success (they talk about getting booed offstage in L.A.), and before they feel comfortable on the radio. Very good episode, as are all of the ICP appearances.
Drew’s silence says it all….he’s not very interested in ICP or their not so brilliant advice. I don’t mind the bank and think Adam does a good job at defusing some tense moments.
to me icp are one of the best guests on the show. every time.
Never know what these guys are going to say, hilarious or insane, man,
They sure can talk, when Adam sometimes can’t get a word in you know!
I’m not sure about their advice (though l like how Adam compares them to Vince Lombardi), but ICP is surprisingly entertaining.
These guys are complete jack-asses tough to listen to, it seems the second drew or adam start saying something these tarts start spewing shit
I love ICP as guests but I found something ironic in this episode. Around 58:40 in, Violent J puts on the brakes and proclaims how he has nothing in common with the caller who went from being in a cult to being a crackhead. ICP is a cult, of sorts, and they do TONS of drugs. Just struck me as funny
1:26:45 i hate to keep bagging on drew but he makes it so easy
“normal involvement does not result in an eating disorder.”
Agree with some of the comments below. Mostly, ICP is way, way over the top and derails most of the normal goals of the show. They give advice and have a general worldview that I makes me think, like Adam, that I would hate to meet them in a back alley.
On the other hand, they occasionally say some absolutely hilarious self-aware stuff. Definitely not your average show for better or worse.
I really can’t decide whether I like Violent J. He is obnoxious and annoying at times and doesn’t really let the hosts do their job, but his insanity is hilarious at times.
They talk about Tommy Lee near the end of the show and bring up Pamela Anderson. Funny because in a later appearance Violent J goes on a rambling story about his encounter with her at a bar. Good times.
Who knew “Disney” has 3 syllables?
“Molestation is almost foreplay for you guys” – Adam to the Clowns
“How many crank addict virgins are there out there”? Lolol I love that line XD
Really funny show. Don’t understand the negative comments? ICP were not only funny but were unexpectedly and refreshingly self-aware, even at this early stage of their career. Highlight was J’s trying to convince Adam and Drew that they’re millionaires, but still can’t get girls (1hr14) that even gets Drew laughing.
“I got a 7 digit bank accounnnnnt! Seven digittttts!! And I’m an idiotttttt!!!” ?
Their music is terrible and i will never NOT make fun of juggalos, but got damn is this episode funny.
Wow, these guys are nuts, but I think it was a fun show.
Within the past month or so of shows, a guest (can’t remember who) asked Adam & Drew if they’re millionaires. Adam responded no. J’s constant “we are millionaires” may be the inspiration for Adam’s eventual “I’m a millionaire… LITERALLY” bit that will soon become omnipresent.
