Show Summary:
Adam's car breaks down
sadly cuts off during Adam’s description of what finding a playboy means to a young man. Funny stuff.
Origin of the well-known story when Adam’s car breaks down on the highway on the way to the studio, and he has to beg strangers for a ride.
Tow truck guy even comes in to the studio. Third time he helps out a loveline host. First one was Poorman.
ohhh shit i heard this story once! where he runs to the winchells!!!!!! hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sooo epic!
“uh uh uh uh I’m a radio host….. uh uh uh uh uh it starts in two minutes…..”
Adam: It’s amazing the people you meet when you really need to meet people.
Adam: trying to trying to be friends with a woman (to get with her) is like trying get a job by working for free.
This is remarkable really. Adam’s car breaks down on the way to the studio and two guidos from “back east” pick him up and give him a ride. They were in the parking lot of a donut shop that Adam had to run into to try to get a ride.
Adam barters with them that if they give him a ride he’ll let them come in and plug their business. Turns out their business is working for a psychic who does tarot card and palm reading.
The whole sequence is quite amazing really. Not something you hear everyday.
Wowwowwow!!! I didn’t know this recording existed!
Short but good episode
Episode 477 of Classic Loveline: Guest: Kristen Johnston
Tree one ohh
First time hearing this one, great story
Date has to be wrong because Drew is supposed to be out of town…
All of 1997 here on LoveLine tapes has to be reorganized due to date errors from fan recordings and all of the files need to be replaced, I’m currently working on re-remastering all of the files, any date detective work for 1997 based off the information here on LLT is a waste of your time as it’s all already been resolved.
