Oh my god I just found out that Lamont died in 2005 in a “meet Joe Black” type accident.
A guest who is sort of in the dopey middle–doesn’t get the show but isn’t hostile about it. Keeps giving canned weird answers about his rap project and talking like he’s a 45 year old white MTV executive making a guess at what urban black kids sound like, which is funny since he actually is a young black guy. Probably would have worked better if they told him the show aired mostly on alt-rock stations and he adjusted accordingly.
