Show Summary:
CLL #375 (feat. Jon Favreau)
03/06/1997 – Thursday Night Show
Source – Official VHS Tape (2023)
This episode has been missing since it originally aired over 26 years ago. Now recovered and shared for the first time. Jon is making his only appearance on CLL, he would record an episode of LoveLine for MTV shortly after this that aired and taped in May and June. That episode would ultimately lead to Dr. Drew having an onset panic attack, possibly even unrelated to the topic at hand. Years later Drew and Jon would mend fences backstage at an event or taping. Aside from a fascinating conversation about Hollywood Executives and the fear of losing employment that often overrides creativity nobody knows nor remembers what was discussed in this episode. Now let's all go back to listen to when times were good and find out what happens for ourselves.
Recording Info:

Another episode ripped from the void and preserved for all time, HiFi VHS! Lost episode, 100% intact and Boss sound!
A nice, downright relaxing show, even though Adam is crabby because of being sick. Jon is talkative and shares his thoughts and experiences freely with callers who ask writing or acting-related questions. The conversation about the mentality of Hollywood executives starts at about 1:20:00.
Quality is excellent. Hope it wasn’t too much trouble to track down this tape.
Love the bumpers from this era. Interesting that “Leatherheads” comes up, would be another 11 years until it is made.
The old bumpers and liners are a great part about listening to this era of the show or really any show. When we first started finding more and more lost 90’s shows it got me into bands that I forgot about or never knew about.
This must be before Drew’s infamous panic attack on the TV show caused by Jon.
Yeah, I believe that was later on. For the life of me I cannot find it on youtube or any hard drives and I’m the one that digitized the VHS! I’ll have to do some searching for a date, I have a screenshot so I know for a fact I have the original tape at least.
